The majestic Austrian Alps stretch across the country, an awe-striking area of Ice Age valleys, verdant heaths and alluvial cones within Europe's largest national park, 700-square-mile Hohe Tauern. Taking in the dramatic cities of Salzburg and Innsbruck and the beautiful province of Tirol, home to spectacular skiing and hiking, as well as Gross Glockner, Austria's highest peak, and some of the world's best winter and summer sports playgrounds, the Austrian Alps are an outdoor lover's paradise.

An Exvellent Experience! Johann gave us easy to follow directions to making both Apple Strudel and Salzburger Nockerl, which were both delicious, and our creations turned our perfectly. The goulash he served for lunch was equally yummy. All the recipes were provided for us to make later when arriving home. The atmosphere was very unique and a definite highlight of our trip. Don’t pass this experience up! Amazing!

Traveling is more than just visiting the sights - traveling is to be familiar with people, culture and lifestyles. The national language as the key to the experience, which also looks behind the scenes and opens up very individual perspectives. That's how I tried to discover countries and so I want to bring travelers closer to my home country Austria and especially Tyrol.
