The reviews are certainly better than our experience. The place looked smart from the outside (part of a hotel) and the tables are nicely spaced out. Unfortunately whilst our drinks were prompt our food order was forgotten. In lieu of this we were told our drinks would be free (still on the bill and had to be removed!) but no real apology. A smarter more engaged place would have noticed the delay and shown more empathy.Food - a burger and the chicken were fine but not special. Not a highlight of our trip.

It seemed that almost every table was having a birthday celebration and they come out dressed in costumes with a little sparkler bomb and everybody claps along with the music. Funny at first, but it was happening every 10-15 minutes! The food was in general hit or miss. The fiddlesticks were perfectly cooked and delicious but smothered in soft cheese with a crust on top and with a dash of what tasted like maple syrup- a miss. The crab and shrimp sandwich was in a mush of mayo- OK. The caesar salad was good. The Yakitori was the only delicious dish. The bone marrow with fruit and lobster etc was another miss (and I normally love roasted bone marrow, they just managed to ruin it). Overall, a disappointing experience.

Nice French bistro just off Rue Sherbrooke. Great quality and innovative dishes. Good service, but the space is small. BYOB. Excellent escargot in risotto. Wonderful fresh bread. Duck breast was well cooked and seasoned. Received horse on the tasting menu. Nicely cooked and different. Palate cleansers were loaded with brandy. Butternut squash soup was very good on a cold Montreal night.

We came here for brunch on a rainy Sunday. We were able to get in without reservations, but the restaurant was very busy. I will definitely book ahead next time, and encourage everyone to do the same. The food was great. I had the two eggs plate with bacon, sausage, ham, pork spread and baked beans. (I thought you just pick one but you get it all, plus potatoes and toast. I think the weekday breakfast is a bit smaller) My husband had the smoked salmon bagel. He was expecting a few greens on the side, but the bagel comes with is a decent-sized salad. There was plenty of food, and it was all very delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back!

Fabulous and imaginative food that was divinely delicious with good portion sizes. Over and above service, knowledgeable and well-informed wait staff. Wonderful sommelier whose recommendations paired perfectly with the food. All in all a great dining experience and we will definitely return on our next visit to Montréal.

The tasting menu is offered in a choice of three, five or seven courses where preference is given to vegetables, as well as a selection of meat and seafood. Our aim is to create a meal that reflects a balance of flavours and draws on the styles and inspir
Despite being a bit out of the way - we were in Montreal for the Jazz Fest and had to take an Uber here - this quickly became one of our favorite Montreal restaurants. We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings, which were well-selected and very generously poured. Next time we'll have the 7 course tasting menu - everything we had was scrumptious. We're pescatarians (no meat or fowl), which wasn't a problem for them. In fact, a strict vegetarian would equally have a wonderful meal here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My wife and I chose the tasting menu. We went through 5 courses, each more interesting than the last. The service was quick, polite and friendly. The atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyable, with a terrasse giving on to the Plateau's trendy St-Denis street.
