Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

The apartment was in a great location, the rooms were very clean and the communal areas, very comfy beds and lots of clean linen and the apartment was very well priced! I would certainly stay again and hopefully longer next time!

Great apartment, really large. Clean and comfortable bed plus sofa bed. Good kitchen area too. Parking right next door - usual city centre prices to park. We paid extra for breakfast - don’t do this. Breakfast was cheaper as a walk in. Was a nice breakfast though

Formed to ensure that visitors to Manchester have the choice they deserve, The City Warehouse Apartment Hotel offers an alternative to standard city centre hotel rooms. We have a selection of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and penthouses, furnished and kitted out with all the mod cons and appliances that you would expect from a hotel. We want you to enjoy yourself, and think you will with us!
Visited with a large group for a hen do, staff were very accommodating with room change requests and couldn’t do enough to offer local advice. All rooms perfectly clean with towels provided, all basic items that you may need in the kitchen and loads of living space with comfy sofas. The lift was out of order so may not currently be accessible for those who can’t use stairs easily but that seems to be a problem applicable to the whole of Manchester.

Iron - Steamless. Water - Cold. Flooring - Creaky. Decor - Old Front door - Smashed in. Lock box - stuck. Would I stay here again? No. The smashed in door deters the alleyway's crackheads as they already assume the place has been done over. On first entering the flat I couldn’t help but notice the strong scent of kebab lurking in the room. There was no hot water and one of the showers was completely broken. I did enjoy the avant garde design of the bathrooms though and the upside down Ikea bins on a towel were a creative touch. Decor generally was outdated, with stains up most of the walls, and the lack of iron was frustrating. The mystery juice in the fridge however was very refreshing. That gets 5 stars. The TV is just there for the pictures on the website as there arent any usable plugs on the entire back wall so youre stuck watching Bad Boys II in the hallway or the kitchen. Overall 1/10 would not frequent again

We arrived at this hotel at 9pm at night to find that there was no way for us to get in even though there is supposed to be a reception. We tried to ring and email multiple times which there was no answer and it kept saying call failed. Eventually someone who lived there came out so we could get into the building and he said that there had been 4 other groups that day trying to get in and the manager wouldn’t be back till Monday to let us in. We had already paid for this apartment and we were two young girls late at night in the middle of Manchester with nowhere to stay. They take your money and give you nowhere to go. Absolutely appalling, need shutting down!
