Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

The Didsbury Comedy Club on the first Sunday of every month since 2008. John Bishop, Sarah Millican, Romesh Ranganathan, John Thomson, Joe Lycett, Gary Delaney and Justin Moorhouse have all appeared here. 2021 saw us move to a much needed bigger venue at St Catherine's Community Centre on School Lane.
A great evening out. Good social event for our group, thanks. 3 great acts, and the guy in the middle wasn't too bad either.... ????????????????

The Comedy Store Manchester offers a unique blend of stand up comedy, fine dining and music. Every week from Thursday through to Sunday the best comedians on the circuit take to the stage. We also have a different comedy night every Sunday to round off the weekend.
Visited here for a birthday treat. Really enjoyed it. Great location off Deansgate, keeps it away from the busier streets which is nice. Open plan seating, tactically chose to sit off towards the side. Great range of drinks and very reasonable prices and a thoroughly enjoyable night of comedy, varied acts all funny. Did not eat at the venue but the packages which included food were available and from catching a glimpse of it, it did look very nice. Have recommended to several friends and will definitely visit again.

This comedy night is so good that I am asking you not to come, so I can still get a ticket! Great night of standup comedy with a varied lineup each time. Usual comedy night warnings- don't come late, don't sit in the middle of the front row, don't come late and sit in the middle of the front row wearing a silk jacket with tigers on it.

Attended last Saturday evening and had pre booked our tickets I say tickets your name is on the door. All the staff are very friendly and attentive .the drinks and food are a good price and well the comedy was outstanding the best comedy night that I have attended a credit to the club. Shame the door staff didn't seem as friendly as everyone else in the club.
ImproQuo, the Manchester Comedy Theatre Company, is the house improv comedy troupe of the show. They take what you believe to be reality and improvise a yarn of ridiculousness that you could only wish were the reality. Give them only a word or a phrase and they use that to create the kind of sketches and entertainment pieces those uptight TV people can’t afford to risk airing.
Four top professional comedians make you laugh Incredible atmosphere and great night out! Different acts every show - some people love it so much we cant keep them away! Full bar and two intervals for more drinks, chatting and toilet
