Maruku is a regional art centre and, therefore, a representative of Anangu culture and art. Our commitment to excellence is driven by the fact that we are a direct link between Anangu culture and tourism to the area, a role we take seriously. We want to educate our visitors about Anangu culture and history; in turn cultivating respect and understanding for this ancient culture and its differences to our own.

Tactile Arts is a member-based, community arts organisation supporting artists and artisans throughout the Top End of Australia. The Tactile Arts building was constructed after Cyclone Tracy as a way to bring people together again and rebuild community. We continue to bring the people of Darwin together in a way that is harmonious and creative. As part of this, we host workshops, exhibitions, craft fairs and artist in residence programs. We also have a Retail Shop located at Parliament house, which showcases the work of our members, offering some of the finest handmade craft in the NT.

Darwin Bowls and Social Club is a members association first established in 1960 making it one of the oldest sports and social clubs in the Northern Territory.
