Things to do in Queanbeyan
I have driven by this take away restaurant many time and was never inspired to stop and see what was on offer. But noticed lately that there are new owners and it looks like more inviting than before so I had a try and was pleasantly surprised both by the quality of the food and the prices, will add to my list of take away places in Queanbeyan.
We had takeaway meals and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The portions were larger than average and the prices were good also. Totally recommend this shop.

Affordable home delivery with fast service. We love this place. They also don't skimp on meat which is refreshing. Great flavours. Try the veggie spring rolls.
This place had a good selection and was clean, and unlike all other Chinese restaurants in Queanbeyan, was open on a Monday night!! The food was tasty and served reasonably quick. Plenty of food meant we had Chinese for breakfast the next morning!!!

I had dinner here on my own one night. It was Asian food mostly (Sunday night) but was pretty empty. I had a schnitzel which was very average - frozen and then obviously deep fried. Came with a 1970s salad - ice berg lettuce, two chunks of tomato and slices of orange all over it. Yuck. Not cheap either - I paid $17 for it which is ok for pub food but not for a leathery old schnitzel with a crappy salad.Drink prices were good but the outside area was all fenced in (and latticed in) which was depressing. It had heaters though which was good but the patrons were a bit rowdy and full of colourful language. Not that I mind but it wasn't helping. The bar staff were lovely though - a girl on the bar was particularly nice and very helpful (called me a cab). Great cab service too! Very quick. Not the best food around but then again, there's not much choice out there. It's semi-industrial and your other choices are a BP and a Red Rooster unless you want to cab it into town. Not a bad place but not somewhere I'd go again in a hurry.

Our usual go-to spot in Queanbeyan was closed so we thought we would give this place a go. Bad mistake. The restaurant is clearly focused on it's take-away business as there were a bunch of people waiting when we arrived and an endless stream of orders going out as we waited for our meals. Service was bizarre and our waitress a bit clueless. We ordered two mixed entrees and two mains with fried rice. Entrees were OK but then one main came out, followed by the second about 15 minutes later then finally the rice was thrown on the table by the waitress as she passed by with an arm full of take-away orders. The food was very ordinary, overly battered and sickly sweet and the rice was dry. There were some big tables full of families who looked like they were having a good time but we won't be back. We paid $70 for a really bad experience...there are much better places around.

The food containers look big, its only so they can fit all the dry noodles they pad them out with at the bottom.Flavour is okay but it sure as mud ain't worth the exyy price tag
