Vietnamese-Chinese or Chinese -Vietnamese food? Not pretentious, you'll get what you see. The Chinese Trinity of Roast by the Window, classic Chinese 80's early 90's set up inside, complete with waiters & waitresses in White shirt and Black vest. They are great, friendly and full of smiles, quick and no-nonsense service, even speaks Cantonese.Easy Menu to navigate .... Food wise;$12 Two Roast on Rice; great taste and value, can't go wrong - BBQ & Crispy Pork Belly, zapped in the Microwave before serving :-)$15.50 Crispy Egg Noodles Seafood combination; served in a mini stainless steel wok, another great value for money and taste fantastic too. Lots of reminiscence to the Cantonese style of cooking.Thank you for that quick enjoyable goodness, I'm inclining more of Chinese food Vietnamese style/experience.
At Davidâs Spicy Pot, you can enjoy more including Sichuan âMao Caiâ (either in spicy or non-spicy) as well as quite a few authentic Sichuan street foods. In order to bring you the most authentic Sichuan flavour, we prepare the âMao Caiâ soup base by adop
I have to say this place was a total waste of my time and money. The place is OK, the food is totally forgettable.Four of us had lunch here and we all left with one question, who would ever want to come back here ?Spicy 2 minute noodle soup like experience, but it was a weak effort at that.I also disliked the fact that we ordered Spring rolls but you do not get as many as the photos show it.I also had to ask for rice multiple times, so OK they can not cook but the service was also lacking. You can do so much better if you are in the area, move on nothing to see here.

Had the pleasure of dining at the Golden Leaf and enjoyed a full course banquet. From SharkFin Soup, through chicken, duck, beef, lobster, prawns etc. etc every course was special! The service was excellent, waiters were attentive and overall the experience well exceeded our expectations! Highly recommended.

Disappointing. They no longer have beef dumplings on the menu. I ordered the pork dumplings instead. DisAppointing. Not juicy, not doughy. I came here for many years just for their beef dumplings. They were the only dumplings I would eat. Looks like I have to find a new place that serves beef dumplings. They have just lost a long term customer. Damn shame.

Urbanspoon have a review of it. It's a great family run business that makes their own dumplings and noodles - very cheap! And good value Greta for a cheap night out with the kids!!
The dumplings and noodles in this little restaurant are super fresh...... you can watch them being made in front of you while you wait for your meal. Sauces are made on-site and the home-made chilli oil is very, very good indeed (although it does contain a little MSG).None of the meals are particularly complex and they rely on the freshness and quality of the ingredients to speak for themselves. The dumplings are a favourite and are perfect if you feel like having a quick, delicious meal on your lunch break. The vegetarian dumplings are among the best I've had, with plenty of flavour and a wonderful, firm texture. The chef and staff are very accommodating and unlike some other restaurants of their style, take food intolerances seriously when they are made aware of them by customers. If you're looking for an inexpensive, quick, fresh meal where you and the kids can see how the food is made (the skill involved is impressive!) then I recommend One Noodle Friendship whenever you're in Preston or shopping at the market.

We were visiting the area over the weekend and decided to try C-Culture based on the TA reviews and we were not disappointed. This is a big and fairly noisy restaurant with lots of wait staff scurrying to deliver meals and clean tables for the next guests. We deliberately ordered more food than necessary so we could try more dishes and take the rest home. Prawn spring rolls and pork wontons for starters were both very good. Mains included satay prawns, Chinese vegetables with oyster sauce, shredded fillet steak with mandarin sauce and special fired rice. Both the prawns and the steak came with vegetables as well which was good to see. Meals / sauces were very good, although the steak was not fillet. Vegetables were very fresh and crunchy. Licensed and prices reasonable.

Amazing value and nice juicy dumplings. Quality isn't great and definitely not much flavour. If you have a few drinks then get here, they'd be great. To be fair they charge like $8-$9 for 15 dumplings, twice the amount of other establishments.Service is lack lustre, but that's expected.
