Do not go to the Scotts Hotel in Pontypridd. The Chinese takeaway is attached to the hotel and they refer to this as their restaurant! Hotel reminds me of Bates Motel. Stench of urine from toilets by reception. Horrible bar, rough clientele and Chinese takeaway is the worst I have had. One star is overrated!!!

Not the best by a long way. Usually when you buy beef curry and rice you'd get a portion of beef curry & a tray of rice but not here. Both horribly shoved in together and half the size of that which you then might buy elsewhere. There are much better Chinese take-aways within a couple of miles so go somewhere else i'd suggest.

Was recommended by a friend , generally the food is very tasty , can't complain about the taste and quality of the food. Always piping hot and waiting around 5 minutes after the pick up time they quote , no problem as like I've said , food is piping hot. My only gripe is that it is quit expensive for the portion sizes , they are quite meagre. I've never had any issue with the staff.
I have had many takeaways over the years and although the food is good, because it is normally freshly cooked it is a good idea to telephone your order in advance rather than just calling in and having to wait. I do feel that although the food is good it is not as good as it was a few years ago.
A great family run take away, where you always receive a friendly welcome and good service. Fish & chips are our favourite but it also offers an extensive traditional fish and chip shop food together with Chinese menu. Fish is cooked fresh but well worth the short wait. Testimony to the quality of the food and value for money is the size of queue at peak times, but don't be put off as service is very prompt. We would not dream of going anywhere else for our fish, chips and curry sauce..........absolutely delicious.

The shreddeed duck, well, wasn't as a starter & there was insufficient cucumber or hoisin sauce for 6 pancakes. The chicken balls had no tub of sweet/sour sauce with them as is usual with this main.We called & they offered to send up some sauce, totally pointlessly as we would have finished our meal by the time it arrived. We were offered a discount next order. They should have had this simple order right. Meal was spoilt really so disappointed. Also getting more expensive for chinese take away, this meal for 2 mains, 1 large rice & 1/4 duck starter came in at £27. We could have gone out for a buffet chinese for a pound more & eaten as much as we'd wanted. On the plus side delivery was quick, food was warm & tasty.

Standard Chinese and chippy menu, but you can have popadoms with your meal. Quick service from friendly staff. Enjoyed my special fried rice, very tasty succulent meat and lovely gravy.
