I wouldn't call it the absolute best, but what can you expect for fast food Chinese style. It's a great place for lunch, I usually get their Orange Chicken.
Where to eat American food in Newark: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The name of this place is a bit mis-leading, since the noodles are not OK, they are excellent! We had lunch there recently. The menu offers a fairly extensive list of noodle or noodle-based dishes. The key to all the noodles is that they are completely hand-made from scratch. That gives the noodle the texture you would not get from noodles bought from grocery stores. The place itself is low key, as many other Chinese restaurants focusing on serving authentic fares. Again, people go there for the food. The portion of each noodle dish was quite large. We ended up ordering a few different kinds to share family style. Given the portion of the dish, I would say this would be the way to go that would give you an opportunity to sample different dishes. They don't take reservations. So it might be challenging for big groups. But they do have one big round table that can comfortably sit eight.Highly recommend it!
Best Middle Eastern food near Newark, California, United States
Sometimes known as Venus Cafe, this place serves up Hong Kong style and some American food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We mainly go here for Sunday breakfast, ordering noodle soup, congee, or American style breakfast which includes coffee or milk tea. They tend to prepare their dishes a bit more savory than I am accustomed. For example, rather than the preserved (pickled greens) vegetable pork noodle soup come out in a clear broth, instead the soup ingredients came in gravy in the clear broth. So far what we ordered as far as soup is concerned, the portions are pretty decent. When it gets packed, you may need to remind them to bring your beverage. Sometimes it came out when we were more than halfway through our meal.

A Hong Kong style cafe that serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We mainly go here for Sunday breakfast, ordering noodle soup, which includes coffee or milk tea, off of their breakfast special menu. Going there to eat later in the day can be crowded and noisy. They have great food and drink deals during happy hour, 3-6 and 9-close.

Don't be put off by it's strip mall location. This restaurant is the real-deal. The menu is quite expansive, but all the food is fresh and delicious. The soup I ordered was rich and divine, filled with chicken, shrimp, veggies, and aromatic broth. A must-do!

Looking for a different dinner tonight and since it was a gorgeous night out I decided to stroll down Newark Street and see what was available. About 2 blocks from the Courtyard hotel is a strip shopping center that is populated with all the Chinese shops and restaurants one would want; restaurants, hair and nail salons, bakery, grocery store, etc., etc. I chose Little Sichuan from the outside and because I prefer it to Hunan. Ambiance is authentic Chinese which means all the signs and menus are in Chinese. Menus are in English as well. Tables are built for families as are the portions. My server spoke very little English do I was reduced to pointing at the menu which worked fine....except for the sizes. My small Hot and Sour soup was in a tub which could have easily served 6. The order of food did not come out as I would have expected but remember this is authentic. The Fried rice came first instead of the soup. That came second. Then my Crispy Spicy Beef arrived. The food was delicious and certainly among the best Chinese I've had. I attempted to eat with the chopsticks but should have taken the fork when it was offered. It's a busy, clean and spacious place with rap music coming from the kitchen! Bring friends if you go! Or be prepared to carry out what you can't eat. Enjoy!
Some of the dishes are pretty good, but some of the dishes are just ok. Some of the menu items taste very similar even though the descriptions are quite different. Their prices are very reasonable for the quantity of food that they serve. It's not the healthiest place to eat because many of the items are deep fried or covered in heavy sauces. In general, it's a good place for fast Chinese food.

We had a family dinner here. It is crowded. Food is very tasty and portion is large. I cannot finish mine and became my dinner next day. Seafood hot pot has a lobster tail and a lot of fresh seafood. Highly recommended!
