Six of us came here after a long day of exploring the city and were treated to a lovely night. We sat outside in the street-side dining area and it was great. Our food was good and the staff was nice and helpful. Our table got one of the Firenze steaks and it was fantastic. My wife had the risotto which was just okay but everyone else at the table had a great meal.Highly recommend the eggplant lasagna type first course. I wish I could remember the actual name of it but it was one of the best things I ate on our trip to Italy!

away from the main tourist attraction in a very quiet residential area. Menu is traditional florentine, tasty and characteristic.

Food was pretty mediocre and both pasta dishes oversalted to the point of being inedible. Service from Owner and staff really quite poor. Dumb tourists stuffed into the corners but locals treated like gods. Their credit card machine failed so I got to walk for 15min to the nearest cash machine with family held hostage. No apologies and they couldn't care less their systems failed. One issue also with young lady in front of us at cashier getting short-changed. Even with quite a lot of attitude from staff, it took her a brave 4 times to insist they count out the cash and give her the extra E10 she was owed. Wouldnt return.

We have just eaten a delicious family meal here. The food was excellent value, especially the set three course Tuscan menu at â¬20 per person, including a glass of wine. The three kids with us all found something they enjoyed on the menu, and the serving staff were extremely friendly and charming. Found the value to be superb and the portions to be on the generous side. The restaurant does get busy, so consider booking. Stays open till quite late.

Like many I suspect we went here because it was across the road from our hotel. Having no preconceptions, we were pleasantly surprised not only by the friendliness of the waitresses (English spoken) but also by the standard of food. There are better places but not so convenient and would certainly come again if we came back to the same hotel.

Informal restaurant, ideal for a good meal near the centre of Florence for a respectable price, the menu has lots of different dishes, from pasta dishes, meat dishes -including the Fiorentina steak-, fish dishes and home-made desserts.
Have been before but the waiting staff need training, the food has been excellent on many occasions... again the chef has a passion that he needs to pass onto the waiting staff. Somewhat rude (even if not purposefully). You Canât always Enjoy a meal If the service is lacking. Food and service need to complement each other....Hello miss,I'm sorry your experience hasn't been good last time, we apologize for any kind of bad behavior the staff may have had.But I feel like 1 star is a little too harsh considering that the food had been excellent, on multiple occasions also, but then again, we'd like you to come once more to see if there's been any improvements since last time, and enjoy a good meal per-say.Sincerely, the Owner.

The De Gustibus Bistrot is going to serve the products of the network members, this means small wine and food producers, family run and high quality farms in Tuscany who represent the excellence of our region. The kitchen will offer dishes from the culina
We enjoyed a 3 course meal in this lovely restaurant just 5 min walk from our hotel. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable when it came to suggesting dishes (and pointing out when âtunaâ dishes may actually refer to pork!). Complimentary Prosecco was served and good wine. Although expensive (we paid exactly â¬100 for both of us), which may be a fair price in Florence but seemed a little pricey when compared to similar restaurants in the centre. Recommended!
