Things to do in Umag
We stayed at the Stella Maris Villas and had lunch at this restaurant one day. The food is excellent and the service equally so. The location is stunning, with either sea or pool view. The food is mediterrenean, a lot of grilled seafood and pasta. The only drawback is that it closes early (at 21) so we were too late for dinner one night.
We had one lunch and two dinners here and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Extremely good value for money for food and drink. The husband and wife who run the restaurant were perfect hosts too. I recommend whilst in Umag you have a meal here as you wonât be disappointed.

We would like to welcome You into this little paradise surrounded by the nature and near the sea. If You choose to be our guest it will be our pleasure to prepare You the specialties of our cuisine. The ingredients we use for the preparation of our dishes
We have been there to eat local meat dishes. I liked it very much. Juicy and tasty food. It is a little bit away from Umag located in Valica. It is worth a visit as the food quality is good. The garden is nice and perfect for sitting outside in summer.

I discovered this restaurant last year while on holiday in Umag, and this year was back. Two evenings spent there.Does a varied menu with meat-based & fish-based dishes. Enormous portions! Prices are extremely reasonable, first evening we went for a 1.2 kg mixed fish meal for two people (two sea bass, one sea bream, two scampi, cuttlefish, mussels, vegetables), with drinks this came to 318 Kuna/â¬42.97. Unlike many other restaurants & bars, the conversion rate for who wants to pay in Euro is scrupulously honest. We were offered free shorts after the meal, but unfortunately I was driving!Next day we chose cevapcici which included masses of vegetables, and liver which also came with a huge assortment of vegetables, with drinks we coughed up 135 Kuna/â¬18,24.Menus in Croatian, Italian, German & English. The staff also speak these languages.A 7-minute walk from the Old Town (I timed it!), but this distance leads to an increase in quality and drop in price. Easily-findable on a main road. Has a small car park, but with a free town car park on the opposite side of the road.

Had a family dinner here, one carbonara, one bolognese, one grilled chickenbreast, tomato soup and a pizza. My wife really enjoyed the tasteful carbonara, the chicken was very tasteful, my daughter loved the soup an son the pizza. My bolognese could have a bit more Basil and salt, but was also good. Reasonable prices and stunning location by the sea in Umag.

Lovely restaurant. Polite staff with fantastic knowledge of various languages. We came here twice and had two different lobster pastas for two ( one with shells one without) the food was fantastic. You are also given home made bread with a variety of different olive oils to start. Finally you end with a variety of different biscuits. A lovely place we would definitely visit again.

We visit this place for late lunch. When we entered the place was full, but they find us a small free table. Staff is very polite and friendly. The food was nice, specially home made pasta and we also like seafood salad and small stuffed chili with anchovy. They definitely can improve open red wine.
