Things to do in Rawdon
Si vous ne voulez pas dépenser pour un midi en vitesse, c'est acceptable, mais le sous-marin choisi reste un sous-marin Subway. Vous connaissez, moi aussi. Pas de surprise alors...

Even though they have a nice dining area, we opted to order out so we could take the pizza to the cottage. Had a large Crabtree special, and a side salad. Excellent traditional pizza, and even better leftovers the next day! Highly recommend for a quick stop in Rawdon, to fill up on good pizza!
An unexpected stop, great cheeses made there , service is super friendly , snack there or buy some for home .... fairly priced for quality products ..

Had dinner here this evening. Ordered the 1/2 rack with a chicken leg. Came with cole slaw, potato. The ribs were covered in a red bbq sauce. The meat fell off the bone. The chicken was a bit dry. The skin was crisp. The side bowl of brown sauce that tasted a lot like St Hubert's. Washed it down with a half jug of Sangria. My wife had the hamburger steak which also the brown sauce.

Went during the Holidays. Service for lunch at the counter was a little slow. My chickeh breast was well cooked and good. Didn't like the BBQ sauce however, I prefer St-Hubert's... Would have liked a little more fries.

My friends and I heard that Dino's was under new management so we tried it out. I ordered the Greek pizza. Normally, pizza places use regular black olives on their Greek pizza--black olives have very little taste and I prefer to have kalamata olives on my Greek pizza. Lo and behold, Dino's uses kalamata olives on their Greek pizza! I was very happy and the pizza was delicious! My friends had the Québécoise. From them, they said that there was too much bacon on top. Too much bacon?! One added that the sauce had a smokey flavor to it that he didn't like. For me it was an okay place with a great Greek pizza. The atmosphere was friendly but I noticed that the servers were busy, but one table had three very loud and obviously drunk "dudes" and two or three servers were there talking to them--they knew each other. It bothered me because 1) they were loud and used course language and 2) the servers were spending too much time with their friends rather than their customers. I even witnessed one of the waitresses taking a couple of shots with them. Is this normal? I don't know, but hopefully those three guys never come back...at least if I'm there. The owner needs to do something about keeping the atmosphere family-friendly.

If you like over-priced average food you've found the place. Typical Québécois "bouffe" spaghetti, pizza, club sandwich etc. Not that Tawdon offers much in the way of alternatives...

We finally found awesome Montreal quality bagels! Please try it, it's worth every cent. The fruit they serve is the best too... Definitely going back on my way back to Rawdon.
