A specialty coffee house in downtown Yangon. Café Salween brings a combination of Burmese and international coffee culture. We serve a broad range of coffee and tea with Burmese traditional desserts. 5 minute walk from the old "Ministers' Office" building
Came here after visiting the Botataung Pagoda and had the Ginger Lemon iced tea, which was amazing. The cafe itself is modern, very spacious, comfortable, and great for relaxing or an afternoon chill. Staff is friendly, there is WiFi, and ACThank you for the review. à Thentic is a chic reinterpretation of the traditional French Brasserie. It combines French elegance with an Asian flair - resulting in an airy, welcoming environment from lunchtime through to late night.
Why do some Asian countries and local restaurants just produce better bread than many European places? OâThentic is such an example. The panini was warm, crusty, fluffy inside and simply delicious with its light veggie filling. The fries were crisp and hot and the salad fresh and chilled. Dessert of a warm fresh fruit crepe completed an extremely enjoyable early evening meal. The group of young male staff were charming and attentive. A delightful escape right in the heart of downtown Yangon.Dear audragon007,Thank you for the wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience. I will be sure to pass your comments on to our team.

Bodhi Nava is a café and restaurant designed to offer a sumptuous escape, nestled inside a small street between Yangon's Shwedagone Pagoda and Kandawgyi park. You can sit, relax and enjoy a range of distinctively created, healthy, Thai, Burmese, and weste
Tried for lunch.Positive1) If your looking for a quiet, homey, and rustic ambiance then Bodhi Nava is for you. Good for those who loves to read and work in cafes2) The atmosphere is not your typical restaurant. It has a hostel on top.3) The choices are more healthy than not. Perhaps 90% are healthy choices making it more attractive to vegetarians but at least they have chicken selection.4) The servers speak good English. The owner, Bo, was there. You can always expect personalised service from her.5) The location is a charming neighborhood around the Shwedagon Pagoda with old houses surrounding. Negative1) The Tea Leaf Salad was quite salty.2) I was not able to try the toilet but hopefully its decent and clean enough.3) It closes early at 6:00pm. Couldnât think of anything negative because the restaurant vibe was good.Recommended.

Anyone that has been to Myanmar will often find reasons to keep returning. The historical architectures, pristine landscapes and the rich heritage that are distinctly visible in the gentleness of its people make this country so fascinating. Acacia Tea Sal
I went for dinner to the Acacua Tea Salon, the food is ok, nothing special. The Rosmarin Chicken, the grilled chicken and the fish plate we ordered - only the grilled chicken was good, the others just so so. The portion are small, if you are hungry donât go there for your dinner. As a starter we had a salad, the salad was very fresh and tasty. Because of the small portion we ordered sie cake, the best was the cheese cake, outstanding cheese cake. The other cakes also quite good. The restaurant is located in an old beautiful colonial building, really nice and beautiful. Summary, good for a afternoon tea or coffee in combination with some cake, excellent; for dinner you choose better something else!Thank you very much for this compliments. We really appreciate visiting us and will keep on upgrade our service as well as quality of food.

Rangoon Tea House is a modern recreation of an old, colonial-era restaurant set in the heart of downtown Yangon. The cuisine is inspired from that of local tea shops, whose traditions stretch back to when Burma was a part of British India when Rangoon was
Spacious hip restaurant which serves up Myanmar classic dishes and street foods with flair. Drink out of coconuts and eat out of clay pots. Presented stylishly and packed with flavor. Popular with tourists. Walking distance from the Sule Pagoda. Had the Watermelon coconut drink (3500 Ks) and the Soft Shell Crab Noodles (9500 Ks). Wished I had room in my stomach to eat more.

Following the recommendation of the Lonely Planet we took a taxi here for breakfast. Just wonderful. The Mohinga (?) noodles were terrific as were the bao, samosas and prawns (yes - the food was so good it was a rather large breakfast). We asked the chap next to us what he was having and he let us have it! (Of course we paid for it). All for less than £3. Service super quick and friendly but what would you expect in Myanmar?Excellent

Nourish Cafe is a plant-based cafe serving filling and delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We offer healthy take-away options all day long. Come and try our veggie burger, it is delicious!
Found this place via TripAdvisor and glad we came. Understated location at the end of an alley (left hand side) off a main thoroughfare. Glass door frontage in small building complex in the back. Cosy atmosphere (we observed regular local expat following) and special with the limited available vegan restaurants. We followed the dish and drink recommendations by the counter staff and enjoyed the offerings. Orders are placed at the counter and generally is self-service. Wifi is available. Air conditioning too but a bit on the warm side. Still, a recommendation by us. Lunch total was $20 for two.
