Reviews on Cafe food in Salamanca, Province of Salamanca, Spain. Known as Spain’s "golden city," Salamanca is rich in architectural, religious and gastronomic culture. Marvel at the La Casa de las Conchas (house of shells) and the 18th century Plaza Mayor, then pore over the fresh produce of the Central Market. Both the Old and New Cathedrals of Salamanca are celebrations of Renaissance and Gothic styles.

Friends invited us to El Rastrel, just off Gran VÃa, for their once-a-month vegan brunch. (I think the first Sunday of the month). We had several courses of tasty vegan fare for 10E, with all proceeds benefiting an animal rights organization. Casual and cute, with flowers and candles on the tables and good service. All locals. Will return to try their artesenal beers!

Located in a privileged environment: The Plaza Mayor of Salamanca, next to the Town Hall, we have been serving the Salmantinos since 1946 and the thousands of tourists who visit our beautiful city every year. Reinventing ourselves and adapting to the need
I have a relationship with Salamanca spanning nearly 30 years. By far, my favourite cafeteria in the Plaza Mayor is Las Torres. Every morning we have their coffee and churros (5) deal for 2,90 euros. You wonât find better churros anywhere! Same price inside as outside (which is rare). The waiters David, Eugenio and Manolo are friendly and professional. They all have a good sense of humour which adds to the whole experience. Itâs one of those bars that has great food and a great vibe.

In contradiction to traditional Spanish food here you can have a nice tasty and fresh breakfast! Nice interior and friendly service are an added bonus. And the tostada with avocado, tomato and olive oil on (almost) brown bread was actually as big as a normal dinner plate!

MaGenta es un CAFÃ-BAR donde encontrarás tapas veganas-vegetarianas. Tenemos tartas caseras, café y té de comercio justo y mucho más. In Salamanca MaGenta you will find all the flavor of the homemade and traditional mixed with modern touches, it is vegeta
I am no vegetarian and Magenta is a vegetarian cafe. But boy the offerings were wonderful. Delicate flavours, freshly produced and nicely presented. And very, very reasonable prices. We had a light dinner and returned the following day for lunch. Total for both meals around â¬20 and that included beer.We found Apple maps mislead us. We were 200 metres away when it claimed we were there, but the required search was well worth it. The address is correct.Highly recommended- even for meat eaters!
