Reviews on Cafe food in Roenne, Bornholm, Denmark. Perched on the shore of the Baltic Sea, Roenne was first settled over a thousand years ago. Today, the Danish city is known for its low historic houses and beautifully crafted grandfather clocks. The charming squares and yellow buildings of the Old Quarter set a cheery scene for exploration. The graceful 19th-century lighthouse provides plenty of photo ops, and the whitewashed St. Nicolas Church is jam-packed with ancient artifacts that date back to the 14th century.

Come enjoy a cop of coffee and, or some delicious mostly homemade food. We work very hard to ensure quality in our dishes and specialities. As well as ensuring that our customers feel welcome and relaxed in our cafe environment. Come enjoy the sunset and
We were traveling with kids and needed to eat smth. The service was really good, waiter was helpful and spoke English well. We got our dishes quit fast. Place was warm and cozy with a nice view. We ordered steakhouse burgers, a burger menu for a daughter and chicken menu for a son. Kids took juices and we beers. Burgers were ok, I've eaten better but can't say anything wrong about it. Chicken was ok too. All it was ok but overpriced. I understand Bornholm prices are quiet high but we've paid 600 DKK which I think is too much. We paid less for much more in other Bornholm places advised by tripadvisor .

I've been here more times, as I live on Bornholm and like to bring friends/guests here. The place is owned by a couple - she's in the kitchen and he's waiting most days. Always a quick and humorous comment - nice and empathetic way and of course well-made food. As you may have seen (here on this page) they are famous for the giant "tartelet" which is a baked cup of bread (very crisp kind) with a stew of chicken and asparagus known as a traditional Danish dish, that usually comes in much smaller variations - cup-size, whereas this one is 4-5 times as big. That is one problem more people may experience - it's a bit too much food, actually, but the size itself make a lot of people come here just to try.I want to point to the rest of the menu which is also worth a taste. They have a handful of good quality Danish lunch-dishes as well as open-faced sandwiches that are as good as the famous "Tartelet".Once I had a VERY good layer cake with rhubarb and whipped cream - if that's on the menu, you should definitely go for that! Even you may think that you already had enough! You do not want to leave without - so at least you can share a piece with your friends or family.I will be back. Again and again...

Typical tourist restaurant in the center of the village. Big area outside and roomy inside aswell. Good food but nothing special. We had lunch and all was good, maybe a little slow service but the place was packed at the time we were there so it might have been why.

Good airport food can be hard to come by. It's easily crappy or rushed fancypanchy. Here you get an good solid Jucilei and tasty burger (98 DKK) no crap no fancy....just honest. Enjoy it with a local Svaneke beer.

A Nice little cafe in the Marina, serving homemade sandwiches, coffee, cake, icecream, beer, Wine and soft drinks. Relax in the Sun and enjoy the view, only 5 minutes from the ferry and the City centre.
A sandwich is not a sandwich and a Cafe Kaas sandwich is in a league of its own. Add to that smart and helpful staff and a pleasant cafe and you have a must try in Rønnne

Wanted something which shouted âeat me, I am not minuscule, seriously overpriced or pretentiousâ and this cafe provided portions that would fill ones boots and which didnât require another trip to the cash machine. The menu was all in Danish but the charming waitress explained it all beautifully. The pasta salad was big into pasta, and would have benefited from more chicken and salad bits, and the strong mayonnaise was rather overdone- but the meal was perfectly edible. The club sandwich was similarly awash with the mayonnaise. We certainly didnât go hungry. They too charge for tap water - but at least it was served with buckets of ice and lemon and orange slices. A nice chilled place to eat your heart out.
