Atlanta has been dubbed everything from the "capital of the new South" and "the next international city" to "the best place to do business." It's also a great place to visit. Fueled by the prosperity of local mega companies like Coca Cola and Holiday Inn, the prestige of hosting the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and the energy of young upwardly mobile types who have migrated to the city in droves - Atlanta is on fire. And this time it's a good thing. From world-class restaurants and a myriad of cultural attractions to a hip nightlife and sporting events galore, the city is cosmopolitan in every sense of the word. But Atlanta has also managed to maintain its historic character. Stop by the Atlanta History Center or visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Site, a moving tribute to an American icon. Browse through the former home of famous author Margaret Mitchell or pop into the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum for details on the life and times of the former president and his family. Whether you choose modern urban endeavors or old southern pleasures, Atlanta will not disappoint.

Southern comfort in a modern world. An independent restaurant, bakery, and coffeehouse with a vintage design evocative of the Westside's historic industrial corridor, serving Chef Andrew Smith's breakfast all day, lunch, and weekend brunch, Pastry Chef Ca
This place deserves all of the positive reviews. Very hip décor and vibe. I enjoyed the West Side Bloody Mary which was really well made. It was difficult to choose what we were going to eat because the menu had a lot of great options. We opted for the Peachtree Plate and Burrito bowl. Really enjoyed the high quality ingredients and flavors. Yummy maple bacon. Definitely a spot to visit if you are in Atlanta.

Fresh & delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner & catering, we're dedicated to keeping you happy in your Corner of the world.
We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast here, right across from Hyatt. Flatbread Avocado and spinach egg breakfast is excellent. So is chicken sausage on flatbread with egg and cheese. Super solicitous staff. Get your coffee yourself and they bring the food to your table. Also great muffins and cakes. Great breakfast.

I have just finished lunch there. It was wonderful. Great service. I had the meat loaf. They really have outstanding vegetables. The fried green tomatoes have the perfect breading. This is the quintessential meat and two diner. We finished by splitting the peach cobbler. It is more than enough for two. Not particularly the cheapest place. They also have a large takeaway section. Let me suggest the vegetable soup.

This is our favorite breakfast go to in Atlanta and it is usually excellent. We were disappointed at our last visit with a not so great meal. The potatoes were cold, stale and hard as if they were from the day before. My eggs were cold. The avocado toast was drowned in balsamic. This place is on the pricey side and we donât mind paying more but we expect great food. Our server was super friendly. We were offered new potatoes or hash browns but once you start eating you donât want to stop and wait to eat in shifts. Someone should be checking food quality and temperature before the food leaves the kitchen. Hello Samiya,We are sorry to hear about your disappointing visit with us. We strive to consistently please our guests and we failed you on your visit. You gave us some great points we will focus on and we will definitely hone in on those to make sure mediocre/cold food isn't going out to our guests. We would love to talk further with you about your visit, please reach out to us at [email protected] you and hope to see you back soon!Jessie and BrenoEgg Harbor Café Buckhead management team.

Though I would avoid this place like a plague on a busy weekend, it is a wonderful Atlanta restaurant with biscuits that are just divine! During the week you can often find a place or two left to park and eat at the bar or have a short wait for a table. The chicken biscuit with red pepper jelly is a fun twist on an American favorite. The pimento cheese grits are great & the coffee options really good. The standout remains the biscuits. The only thing we would change is for the jelly to be raspberry or strawberry (many in our group did not favor the blueberry) but the biscuits are so buttery & perfectly flaky many of us just ate them plain.

We were visiting for the first time. There was a 30 minute wait but it moved along quickly. This place is cash only, I was prepared from reading the other reviews. This is a very busy place! It is small and resembles a diner with both counter service and table service. The waitress was okay. We were charged for an extra drink but she removed it once we brought it to her attention. Food....I had the fish&grits which was tasty and had a nice size piece of fish. Hubby had the shrimp and grits which he enjoyed. The shrimp were really tasty. Kids had chicken fingers and fries(fries are shoestring and the chicken tastes like they batter it in Pepsi) kids ate it but for the first time ever they werenât interested in taking their leftovers, burger and fries(basic), pancake and bacon(bacon was salty). Overall we left full but I wonât be breaking my neck to come back when visiting.
