One of the best beaches of Crete not very Known. It has two beaches on sandy to West and one with small stones to East. There are candeens. At east beach umbrellas are free. You pay only your coffee or sandwich. In this beach you dan see kedrous a type of trees that there are only in south Crete. It's suitable for young children

Excellent beach, into which we headed forcedly, as it was so windy at the sandy beach other side of the peninsula that there was sand in the air feeling like needles. But, a really good accident! A very rare beach consisting purely of these around 10cm diameter round stones. At the sea bottom, clear sand. The water so clear, couldn't be any more cristal! The atmosphere here at this European Union Blue Flag beach was something of unique! A must visit!

Nice calm rocky beach The E4 trail to eleafonisi starts here (well marked trail head) it is a 4-5 hour walk bit completely worth it. We spent one day at krios beach, and the next day we walked from krios to eleafonisi.
