We visited Midway and Park City to visit the kids and played the Gold Course at Soldier Hollow. We have played both courses but being from AZ the Gold course is our favorite. The fall view is beautiful, showing the mountains with Fall colors and early snow on the Mountains. The course is great,,big spread on the tees with a healthy rating on each one. They had just done the greens, without telling us when we made the tee time but overall the greens were 6-7 ratings and didnt hamper our putting.

After sinking a putt, we’d jump in the cart, excited to see what amazing view awaited us at the next turn. This course is kept in pristine condition and has a good mix of challenging holes. Visiting from out of state, we rented clubs and were impressed with the quality of the sets. Look forward to returning for a fall visit.

We went on a snow mobile tour through the state park. it was awesome. It was so neat to see the cabins where people live inside the park areas. If you take a snow mobile tour, do one at around noon. Perfect time! It is a must see!

Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese. Today, visitors can stop by the farm store to sample fresh cheese & handcrafted fudge daily; purchase raw milk, fresh & aged cheeses, handcrafted jam, fudge, cookies and candy. Or grab some famous Aggie Ice Cream, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich or a nice bowl of soup - and enjoy it in our store or on the patio.
Located in a big red barn on River Road about a mile north on Main Street in Midway, Heber Valley Milk & Artisan Cheese is worth a stop when visiting the Midway area. They have a nice variety of locally made cheese, as well as jams, jellies and other product made in the Heber Valley. The cheese curds are particularly good and are offered in a variety of flavors. During the summer months, expect a line at the ice cream counter.

Super fun family adventure. Loved the magic carpet. Remember to drag your feet at the cones or you will blow out the end.
