Beach is very shallow and developed very nicely. Shower facility is available but closes sharp at 6pm. Very few garbage bins on Beach. Almost after 3pm due to low tide sea goes almost half km.in. so better to visiti in the morning. Sports activities also available. For scuba, snorkeling and kayaking advance booking is must. Activities also depend alot on tide timings. Same parking lot for Light House and shivrajpur beach. Lighthouse also closes at 6pm.

Witness Ramayan in action here. The place finds mention also in Valmiki Ramayan. Rameshwaram is well-known for its temple tanks but a place that is of special importance is the Villoondi Theertham. Legend has it that this was created with lord Rama shot an arrow to get fresh water from the sea to quench his wife Sita’s thirst. Located about 7 km from the Ramanathaswamy Temple, this place offers some stunningly beautiful and dramatic views of the sea. Incidentally, the place is named Villondi or 'buried bow' as it is believed to be the place where Lord Rama buried his bow and arrow. A long platform leads you to this holy well and it is magical to walk on it as you see the sea from both the sides. The water in the well is quite mysteriously sweet in spite of being surrounded by salt sea water all around and devotees believe it will do them good if they take a sip of this holy water. There is a small temple like structure adjoining this place and as you stand at the edge of the platform, you can see statues of gods and goddesses in the water bed. The sight is quite fascinating, just like the place itself. 2

Saraswati river is visible near the village mana, which is 5 kms from badrinath. From the parking, it is close to half an hour of steep track. However, once you reach, the origin of river saraswati is visible. At a short distance, saraswati river joins alaknanda river in mana village, to form Keshav prayag. Must visit if you visit badrinath.

Hello People. Odisha is full many beautiful destinations and Chilika Lake is one of them. It is a brackish water lagoon, spread over the Large area of Khurda and Ganjam districts of Odisha state on the east coast of India, at the mouth of the Daya River, flowing into the Bay of Bengal, towards east cost. It is the largest coastal lagoon in India and the second largest brackish water lagoon in the world. Just to add It has been listed as a tentative UNESCO World Heritage site. The lake offers a beautiful flamboyant display of a myriad of avian charms in all diverse hues and colours, ranging from the white-bellied sea eagles to flamingos, and from golden plovers to sandpiper. Also, if you will be lucky enough the lake also boasts of being one of the only two sites in the world where the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins can be spotted. The Chilika lake is around 50 kms from Puri and 110 kms from Bhubaneshwar. This place is well connected by all means of transport. You can also do boating ( for around 2-3 hours) around the lake, also you will meet locals who are expert in selling gemstones, which are used to found under coral reefs and many other sea products. The place is having many hotels and lodges at reasonable prices. The lake is so beautiful and the experience is really good. If you’re going to Odisha, do visit this place.

This one of the holiest spots to bathe for Hindus and is also where the ashes of the dead are dissolved in the sea. It can be very crowded in the mornings. Millions of people converge here regularly. Clean become a bit messy. Holy experience for Hindus. For others, there might not be much to see.

This tank is considered holy and has a lot of small and big temples surrounding it. There is an island in the middle of the lake with a small temple called Chandana Mandapa.
