Every Sunday and Bank holidays the biggest streets of Bogotá switched to half road half bike lanes. From 7 am to 2 pm. It is nice to do. Watch out for altitude, 2600 meters above sea level

The fact that the city shuts down major roads every Sunday for pedestrian and bicycle traffic is incredible and inspirational. It's a great way to see the residents of the city taking full advantage of where they live. It made the idea of walking from Envigado to the City Center seem reasonable and fun. Athletes, families, strollers, and dogs!
