Such a lovely place to stay, immaculately clean, free parking. You really must have their meals, you can add them on at check in if that type of room cannot be reserved ahead of time. Service was top notch and very helpful. We even saw snow monkey out the window of our room. Highly recommended, our favorite accommodation in Japan.

Founded in 1912, along with Iwami Ginzan and Oki Tomari Port, simultaneously registered as a World Heritage Site. A quiet location in a hot spring area, boasting a taste of carefully selected ingredients in the ground catch, and a total of 10 rooms with three hot water boasting 100% own-source 100% fresh water bath, stone bath and free private bath.
We were surprised by how great this place was. Great service - the staff speaks a little English and was very helpful. They even gave us a lift back to the train station on our way out. Great food - we've stayed at over a dozen ryokans and this place hands down had the best food. Great location - just several steps away from the famous onsens in town. Great facilities - they have a private indoor onsen you can book for 30 minutes at a time. A very romantic place. Definitely recommend.

Classic Japanese-oriented mountain ryokan. We were the only foreigners, so it was a fun immersion (literally as well as figuratively). Waaaaay more fun that ryokan aimed at foreigners. They do have a laminated English sheet which explains where things are, opening hours and such. If you haven’t been to an onsen before, familiarize yourself with the routine online first. The baths are single gender, both indoor and outdoor. I suspect it may not be a natural spring, but it is nice. Not fancy. The food was great - 5 little appetizers, generous portion of 4 kinds of sashimi, a fun hotpot or fish and veggies, tempura, a DIY grill of beef and veggies, lots of pickles, rice, soup, mochi. The most varied ryokan meal we had in Japan.

Ryokan Masuya is a three-story wooden inn 100-year-old Japanese-style establishment founded in 1910. One hand-made, all-natural, natural banquet with natural seafood is served in the room. Onsen Tsu Onsen is an old fashioned hot spring area located in the world heritage site Iwami Ginzan. I have a view of Japan with an old town and someday with Iwami Kagura Please enjoy yourself.
Beautiful well appointed onsen. Traditional accommodation in Meiji era lodgings. Excellent bath - hot! - and stylish rooms, decorated with period furnishings. Evening meal in room was a delight, as was the breakfast served in meal hall. Parking offsite, rooms located upstairs (no lift), so not ideal if you have a lot of luggage.

"Yuzuriha" is an inn in Iwami Ginzan in Otomachi Ota City. We have 5 rooms for Western-style rooms , 1 room for Japanese and Western-style rooms and 1 room in the annex. World Heritage Please spend a relaxing moment in the town of Iwami Ginzan.
Quaint little 'hotel' with only a few rooms in the middle of iwami ginzan. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor is tradtional style but very well maintained Room: there were 3 of us and since theee weren't many visitors, they connect 2 rooms and let us have to the whole floor. The bathroom is outside the room, and there is a small kitchen with fridge and kettle and stoves. There are many electric outlets, esp important for ppl nowadays with many gadget to bring on trip ( phone, wifi, cameraS) Food: very home style cooking which I really liked and chef was very patient explaining to us each dish ( even though we only understood half of it) Knowing that we were from abroad, the staff there gave us a DVD which has a introduction of the area ( there is a DVD machine in the room) At night, it is soo quiet in the area and dark that u can see stars in the night skies
