OMG,,, great view of the lovely palms of Bahir Dar and sunset. The room had all that I needed: AC, TV, Nice bed and the food from the room service very nice, lovely juices. Walking around the hotel in a very calm and typical neighbourghood full of little coffees and shops. The bulevar of Palm trees is amazying. Easy access to every location.

A very well stay in Asinuara hotel
Reviewed By TRN27The staff was very professional friendly and experienced. The hotel is also very organised and well built, it contains a high quality rooms with very clean bed and lavatory and they also have complimentary breakfast when you rent a room there. I highly enjoyed their restaurant and dining place their food was very appetising. I however couldn't find Internet connection as accessible as I had preferred but other than that I pretty much enjoyed my stay there.

Reviewed By Melanie PBete Daniel Hotel is a very nice and comfortable place to stay when you want to travel to Bahir Dar. The hotel welcomes you with refreshing welcoming drinks and a traditional cup of coffee :) There is even a hotel shuttle service from the airport. The staff there is doing all their best to guarantee a pleasant stay for their guests. Also the food in the restaurant and the provided breakfast is very delicious. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is wifi, a TV, a fridge, a private bath room and a balcony. The tour guide who was recommended to us was really compentent and made our stay unforgetable. Bete Daniel Hotel can be given the best recommendations :)

Reviewed By wxjxjxjFrom the perspective of a Singaporean, with minimal expectations of hotel stays. And definitely did not expect very much for hotels in Ethiopia to begin with. (-) no lifts but that's okay for us (-) tasteless food, good enough to just fill your tummies. (-) beds were hard (-) mozzies!! This was the point that ruined the night's stay for us. (-) tried to give staff our feedback but did not seem welcomed (-) rooms were not ready when we checked in, even when we checked in later than expected (+) Staff tried hard to meet our requests for services although communication was a problem.

Bed and breakfast in a nice and central quarter of Bahir Dar. The house has a nice garden. Our place is ideal to relax and watch the birds. Our rooms are simple but confortable.
Great friendly guesthouse
Reviewed By SecretStreetsThis is a guesthouse, not a hotel, so rooms are cozy and fairly basic. But a really comfortable bed and a decent bathroom is all you need. Breakfast is great and varied - they'll even offer waffles if you want. Staff are universally friendly and helpful. They organised a lake tour for me which went perfectly. Only slight problem is the location which, though close to the lake, is on an unlit minor street. As they offer only breakfast, this means a walk in darkness to find dinner. Safe but making sure to avoid potholes and not getting lost may be challenging for some.

Bar good, room comfortable, mosquito heaven
Reviewed By snowythepyroThe hotel is set back from the main road, indeed the parking entrance is from the back street. There are rooms all round the courtyard, though most of our party were accommodated in the lake-facing block. The room was comfortable, with one exception - mosquito heaven! Mosquitos are to be expected so close to the lake, but with a good inch of space between the balcony door and the floor they could have a grand time. They also flew up from the shower drain, though we covered it with the plastic jug in the bathroom and that seemed to contain them. We ate in the hotel one lunch and one dinner, and for breakfast. Breakfast was okay, the basic pasta with tomato sauce was good (my stomach was delicate from another place so I was careful). The bar was a great place to socialise in the evening. If you visit during a festival, expect to be woken at 5a.m. from the amplified chanting/singing from the nearby church of St George! TIA, and there was much coffee that morning.

Reviewed By Abu_Firas_11I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Free airport shuttle. Spacious room but very small toilet. Shower not enough to stand. Lobby is a place to relax and enjoy coffee ceremony or Buna in Amharic language. Very friendly staff and service. Breakfast is fine with many varieties of dishes as well as Papaya or Mango juice. The garden is excellent. You can hire a boat for a lake or just enjoy your coffee there. The WiFi is nice in lobby and restaurant while it’s a hell in the room. Overall, I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. Highly recommended after fixing the WiFi
