Rincon is best known for two things—surfing and sunsets. Beaches are small (meaning no huge resort beaches) and no matter how much of a Type-A personality you are, Rincon’s laid-back attitude and leisurely pace will soon win you over.

Absolutely one of our favorite beaches in Rincon! Some days see amazing surf, some days see calm conditions perfect for bathing. If you don’t like the conditions one day, wait a day and they will change. Great beach for laying out. Hopping bars and restaurants line the charming little neighborhood that surround the beach. As long as high N/NE winds aren’t in the forecast, this is the beach to go to!

Domes Beach is commonly known by its waves. Located next to the Boiling Nuclear Superheater Reactor Facility and Punta Higuero Lighthouse built in 1892. International surfing competitions take place here.
Weather your on the beach or at the light house watching the surfers at sundown, this is a great spot, often the waves are smaller and you can go play in them, unlike a lot of other beaches in Rincon. Though if your in Rincon you are probably surfing anyways. But i love this beach! Large amount of sand here!

Some of the best off the shore snorkeling I have ever done. The abundance and size of elkhorn coral, less than 100 feet off the shore in shallow, clear water is amazing. As you swim out the reef is more typical, with fan, brain and soft coral. Plenty of marine life. This is more of a snorkeling beach than a swim beach.

Let's face it, Rincon is a surfer's place - meaning lots of wave and little opportunity to swim. This beach has a roped off section for swimming - and even in surfing season, the surf here is mellow enough to swim.
