On a recent off Friday, we enjoyed a late lunch at Billâs Oak Acres BBQ. I had ribs and green beans and husband had brisket and green beans. The ribs were delicious and very meaty. The brisket was moist, tender and my son, an avid meat smoker would have approved if the smoke ring. Good service, great food in a âfunâ decor. We will be back!

So Iâm vegan...letâs get that out there first off. So walking in with my wife and daughter who are not, the real reason we went in, i knew this: no vegan or vegetarian meals for sure, Iâd have to order sides, no beer selection just the standard American lagers, you order your food and sit, donât expect dotting. And yup, exactly as expected :-)Donât get me wrong, this is a great, local Bar-B-Q...if thatâs a true Texas experience you want, that is what youâre going to get. Options are in the menu, thereâs no crying about it...you walked in here, you get what they offer. I was able to pair up some sides that worked out just fine for me. No way in Hell I was order Miller, Bud or the other beers as I knew thatâs all theyâd have, totally fine, and we were heading to World of Beer (see other review) afterwards.Iâd recommend it for sure if this is the type of food you like, with a local flair!

Finally got to try this place out after 15 yrs driving by. Waited too long. Arrived 1:10. Only a handful of customers. I ordered the 2 meat combo. Ribs/brisket. Beef was very good. Not BBQ on the Brazos perfect, but much better then Angelos or Railhead. Moist w/ nice bark. No sauce needed. Just a touch more salt/pepper. Cut pencil thick as it should be. Ribs were not baby backs or St. Louis cut. Full old time spare ribs. Only got 2 but that was enough. Large and meaty. Well cooked. Sides were cole slaw/BBQ beans. Not too exciting but tasty. Lots of other choices. 12 burgers on menu. All sound good. Will have to return and see if they put as good a scald on those as they do their BBQ. Oak wood is their fuel according to young lady. Also received a wonderful jalapeño cornbread muffin w/ meal. So good I got a 2nd for dessert. Give it a try. I was full and happy for a fair price and will be back.

Admittedly we were the first ones there around 1145 but fifteen minutes after opening they did not have fresh bread ready. My salad was ordered as turkey but arrived as ham. Not sure why but a salad takes longer to prepare. Food was ok. Service was fair. It took some time to get one of the servers attention for ice.

I love the smell of a good barbecue place. Woodys doesnât disappoint. Extras like pickles, carrots, tomatoes and such on the side weâre fresh and plentiful. The brisket was moist and delicious with the slightly tangy sauce. Slaw was fresh and tasty and the potato salad a nice compliment to the meal. I will be back. You can enjoy a great meal here.

Born and raised in White Settlement and every time I come back from Michigan to visit family we always get in a trip to Soda Springs. The meats and "fixin's" always taste great and just like I remembered from way back.Good size portions, a great value, and we all leave satisfied. The people are very nice and make you feel right at home. The decor is very 'White Settlement' without being too kitschy.

I'm bot normally a big bbq fan...but this might have just changed my mind. Two of us had lunch special (brisket sandwich and fries), two had brisket tacos, and one had loaded baked potato. Food was very flavorful, meat tender, and sauce was perfect (not too sweet, not too hot). Counter staff friendly and food was hot and served quickly. Will definitely be returning! Good job, Woody Creek!

Fantastic place, but please look up address on Google. Trip Advisor is always tardy with new loctions, closings and changes. Don't miss out on this restaurant because you can't find it! Billy has moved to a much larger facility over on Camp Bowie. Worth the drive.
