Good place for BBQ. The portions are generous and they are always friendly. I just wish their potato salad was better.
We stopped in for an early dinner and got sandwich plates, sliced brisket and chopped brisket. Serving were adequate and sauces were good...they were a little skimpy on portions of potato salad and beans. Meat was lean and flavorful, very tender.
Not a bigood fan of small places off the highway, but this place surprised me. It wasn't bad at all. Good, tasty bbq sandwiches, good portions ribs, and chicken and the usual sides of potato salad, Coleslaw and beans were fine too. Surprised myself and was surprised.

Super friendly! The sausage comes two ways: the âway your dad over cooked itâ and juicy, both of which are fantastic! That sausage three flavors: cheddar jack, jalapeño and regular. The chicken was moist AND tender AND flavorful. Cole slaw in two equally tasty styles. The Poke in the Eye potatoes have a sneaky heat (not too spicy). The sampler plate is enough for two meals. This picture is our leftovers from two samplers. Decor is adorable and the place is clean. Hurry, go there!

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q serves Real Texas Bar-B-Q seven days a week. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and group meals.
Maybe itâs an off day, I donât know. But my brisket (I ordered a sliced beef sandwich) was dry and wasnât at what I would call a serving temperature (a little too cool considering itâs supposedly âoff the pitâ or at least âout of the warmer.â)The Rudyâs sauce was pretty tasteless and required way too much work to get out of the bottle. The onions were hella hot (if youâre into hot onions).Iâll try again, but today was a disappointment.

We came to the Lake Palestine from San Antonio for a family celebration. Made a small drive into Tyler,Tx from our resort and definitely didn't regret our choice of restaurants. Spring Creek Bbq is awesome. Very nice staff, brisket and ribs are delicious. Kids very much enjoys the fresh, hot out the oven rolls that kept coming around. If ever in Tyler be sure to check this place out.

Not sure what the problem was of the guy that said this was crazy overpriced. Musta had a bad day. Have stopped here 20-30 times for gas or coffee but today was lunch. Had brisket plate and 2 sides. Excellent brisket! Sides were better than most you find. Excellent BBQ!! No complaints. And the BBQ sauce was Texas style. Not thick. Great taste. Either Spicey or mild standard. Well worth every penny!

I was visiting a friend on the hospital and he told me to go across the street. This place is really good. Brisket, ribs, sausage, Turkey and chicken. All plates served with beans, Cole slaw and potato salad. The brisket just melted on your mouth, the ribs were outstanding and the sausage cooked to perfection. They have a kids menu and serve breakfast tacos and burritos. Put this place on my "must do again" list in Tyler. While we're sorry to hear about the circumstances with your friend, Joel, we appreciate you coming over and giving our place a try. It sounds like you had a chance to try several items on the menu, so it's great to hear you loved the meats and sides so much. If you ever find yourself back in the area, don't hesitate to come back and visit us. Cheers, Nick P.
