This is a hidden gem in lanzarote near playa Honda a fab restaurant but allways quiet we have been 5 times but best time is lunch or Sunday lunch when more atmosphere looking forward to going back again in feb and AugustLocals know it as the swords restaurant a bit difficult to find but it's lanzarote not gran canaria I have advised trip advisor many times

Food was excellent. Cosy interior (10-12 tables for between 2-6 people). We went with two pushchairs and they accommodated us brilliantly. Our first trip here we almost discounted it on passing but do not let the exterior fool you - this establishment is a must if you like good food. Staff are all fantastically friendly too.

Stopped in after the bus tour of the surreal landscape. great setting. the service is friendly despite it being a 100% tourist trap.we only had sandwiches but they were freshly made and good value for money. coffee is excellent. the bbq meat which was seen cooking over a lava tube using heat from underground looked extremely appetizing.Definitely worth a visit as part of the national park tour.

We are staying locally and wanted a restaurant we could walk to and Las Cardenas fitted the bill. We received a really friendly welcome and our waiter was really attentive. Although he only spoke a little English, he tried hard to explain some of the dishes and recommended things to us. The starters were very large and tasty and our steaks and the chicken were super! Deserts equally as good! Good food, good atmosphere and would come again if staying longer in Lanzarote!

It might be a way out of PDC but it is worth every single minute of the 30 min drive. The view is stunning, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff very welcoming and friendly and the food to die for. Our large group ordered a selection of different meals including tapas. All came out at the same time and looked amazing. The presentation cannot be faulted. Those who chose tapas loved it and as for me I chose the pulled pork burger. A massive burger topped with pulled pork in homemade bbq sauce and topped with kimchee. A delightful combination I would never had put together but boy did it work. Even the chicken burger was a massive chicken breast cooked to perfection and smothered in home made aioli. The added bonus of fried potato skin crisps and olives on the table as a prelude to the delicious mains started our lunch off on the right foot. Even though we were stuffed we had to try the home made desserts. 3 of us chose the mixed trio just because we couldn't decide what to have so why not have 3?!. We were even given a little taste of the home made fruit liquors. I have to say it was well worth the visit for a great meal but it wasnt just great it was amazing. The best burger in the world!!!Kylie, Thank you so so much for taking the time out of your holiday to write such lovely words. I truly thank you for this. I am so so pleased that you all came up to Grillen yesterday and more so that your visit was a 'great' one. This restaurant is absolutely amazing, great service, great prices and incredible meat. We had the equivalent of their mixed grill for two but shared between four with a couple of starters and it was more than enough. Pork, beef, chicken, Spanish black pudding, chorizo, Spanish spicy sausages, onion, peppers and jacket potatoes plus. Could not fault anything. We cannot wait to return on our n3xt visit.
