Some of the BEST bbq in the region. We always take our visiting friends from out of town here and everyone loved it! Great short ribs. Yesterday, I had their brisket. Husband had bbq chicken tender & flavorful. Delicious, no fatty parts and tender. Order sweet potato fries or onion rings. Their baked beans are awesome. Nice atmosphere too and the help are friendly and give great service. Now they deliver too with GrubHub.

Good barbecue. The staff went out of their way to accommodate 23 people. Recommended are ribs, burnt tips and the best sweet potato fries. Sides were over cooked and my feet stuck to the floor and tables not clean. Restaurant close to the stadium. The barbecue was good and staff great!

A unique Kansas City experience, BB's Lawnside BBQ has been the place where BBQ Meets the Blues for more than 20 years.
A party of 6 of us were there Friday night. Great service, decent food. Burnt ends were good, coleslaw was bad. Drinks were good. Very affordable. Band was great! We'll be back.

My wife and I split a 3 sampler and it was absolutely perfect! Our waitress was prompt, kind, and helpful. Not only did we have a great time and a great meal, looking around the restaurant, everyone else seemed to be doing the same. I highly recommend Jack Stack Barbecue even with the long wait times to get a seat. Thanks for the review!

This place has good everything, food and service. I had bbq & some great potato salad, daughter had catfish nuggets...fixed right! We didn't order drinks..just colas..still got great service. I will go back when in the area..atmosphere kinda like a biker bar...maybe....clean,older adults treated with kindness, lots of nostalgic decor...fun place for lunch.Thank you, Janmarieeoff, for your insightful review. How incredibly flattering of you to make positive note of our BBQ and potato salad, catfish nuggets, and amazing staff. We sincerely appreciate your business and look forward to your next visit.

I have been to this restaurant on a couple occasions. Previously, I have had no complaints except I have always found the servers to be trending toward a slightly rude attitude (no different this time). Our party of four went to a late dinner. We were seated quickly, but the place felt a little âstickyâ and in need of a good cleaning. It was so smoky (not visibly) that at least 3 of us complained later that our clothes smelled of smoke. Before you tell me that this is a barbecue joint, rest assured that I have been to plenty of places like this and rarely, if ever, have I ever had to wash my shirt to get the smoke smell out of it. Drinks are well-made, but the food was just not there. Two of us ordered pork spareribs only to have the waitress return to our table and tell us they were out. I really canât believe that a barbecue joint would run out of ribs. Are you kidding? I had lamb ribs for something different and they were pretty tasty, though the overall experience of the sauciness of all the food was a little over the top. Burnt ends tended to be overly fatty. As you can surmise, I was underwhelmed and a little disappointed. This restaurant will remain on peopleâs lists of barbecue places to go when in Kansas City. For me, I think this may have been my last time.Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback - It helps make our team better.
