Capitati qui per caso: eravamo diretti alla degustazione di vini che invece era solo serale. Quasi le 14 e, in fretta e furia, cerco su TripAdvisor un locale che sembri di buon livello e sia ancora aperto. La scelta cade sulla Locanda. Già al telefono, nonostante lâora, sono gentilissimi, e così ci arriviamo. Cominciamo con un antipasto di salumi e formaggi da dividere. Poi una carbonara e un hamburger di baccalà . Infine due tiramisù, uno classico con pavesini e lâ altro con le lingue di gatto. Il cameriere arriva con la teiera colma di caffè e li annaffia. Che dire...tutto buonissimo, ben presentato e servito con garbo, in una splendida cornice. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità di quanto consumato con 4 calici di vino. Consiglio vivamente.

Visited while staying locally in November. This restaurant is located at the edge of the village and is fairly easy to get to on foot if staying locally. The restaurant is welcoming and well laid out, the staff where very helpful when explaining the menu which is in italian.Enjoyed a pleasant small soup before the starter we both had the pate which was excellent. For mains we had the barbecued chicken which was lovely and moist however the skin although very crispy was very heavily laden with salt. Dessert was really nice would recommend the cheesecake Very reasonably priced and would definately visit again.

We came here due to the good rating on Tripadvisor and were really happy. We had no reservation so the owner apologized we only could get a table inside. Which was completely fine as we were really close to the gigantic pizza oven and the grill. So we could observe the chef putting large chunks of meat on the fire. Great! As for the food, three of us had pizza and only me had the meat, which was great. With the pizza I immediately noted how good the mozzarella tasted. My son now says it's the best pizza he has ever tasted. Don't be fooled by the look from outside. The place looks like a cheap bar, but it's like with a book, don't judge it by its cover. Really recommended.

Location bellissima. Sono costretta a dare 3 stelle, non per il cibo, ma per il servizio. Non si può permettere ad un cameriere di prendere le ordinazioni a memoria, infatti 2 piatti ci sono arrivati sbagliati. Uno lo abbiamo rimandato indietro âlâaltro lo abbiamo mangiato senza fare polemica.Normalmente ho visto che le ordinazioni venivano prese con il tablet, a noi a memoria e questo ci ha provocato un forte disagio Il cibo seppur sbagliato che ci è arrivato era buono. We made a reservation for dinner but when we arrived at the restaurant it did not appear there was a place to check-in. We finally got the bartender's attention and eventually someone seated us. It was a ten minute process. Once seated it was another 15 minutes before a server greeted us. Once he took our order the service and food was very nice. They appear to cater more to local clientele and aren't too interested in tourists.

The gardens were such a treat to sit in. It was extremely tranquil being served a long, slow lunch reasonably undisturbed in the Tuscan countryside. Our food was great, really well put together. The hosts very sweet and attentive to our needs. We yearn to return.

Coming to La Moriccia was almost an adventure - there is a road and we made it without a 4x4, but the potholed, rollercoaster-like way is exhausting anyway. But for us it was very well worth the effort. Everything was fresh made, without any convenience food used, and I've never eaten a larger entrecote. The ambiance is nice, the rooms and restrooms are freshly renovated, and if you have more luck with the weather and can hae the view, it my be even more gorgeous. The team is very nice, and competent on a level that is very fine for an agriturismo. The pricing is average among other Agriturismi, but very fine given the quality level.

We ate dinner here tonight and we had a wonderful evening. The staff were friendly with excellent English and the food was delicious. We sat outside in a gorgeous courtyard on a balmy night. Just magic. I had the steak with balsamic, Parmesan and pine nuts and it was perfectly cooked with soooo much flavour. Hubby had the sliced bistecca with truffles which was generous and delicious. The sides of roast potatoes and mixed salad were yummy too. Highly recommend this little gem.
