I visited this venue years ago and was fantastic, itâs changed a lot and not necessarily for the better. The music was good and the drink service good but ladies bathrooms were disgusting. There was no seat in one, no paper in two and filth all over the floor. Glasses, bottles and cans all through the place and girls vomiting. The venue really needs to look at this. On the flip side, itâs conveniently located in Shoal Bay, spacious and modern. Hi there,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.I am sorry to hear that you did not have a pleasant experience at SBCC and that the cleanliness levels of the bathrooms were unacceptable. We have since addressed this issue and plan to have dedicated cleaners on our busier nights to ensure we maintain our high standards of cleanliness.I am glad to hear you enjoyed the music and drink service. We hope to see you back soon.

the terrace stretches along the poolside with views over the great inland that Port Stepehes sits on. You can get very tasty light meals and snacks here and superb cocktails or wine, beer, coffee. A perfect place to relax whether or not you want to indulge in the pool or listen to the music.

With great views, food is serviced in a friendly environment. Service was prompt, proportions are generous and the meals delicious. The salt and pepper squid with crunchy Asian salad was particularly tasty. Be aware though to begin tour meal early as the kitchen and coffee machines close early.

1st time Hogs diners and we were impressed. the food was very tasty. Calamari entree was large and their $33 for 3 courses was a bargain. The steak was very nice indeed. I was surprised that the coffee was excellent too. The view over the marina and harbour is a nice bonus. Thanks so much for your feedback. Itâs great to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. We hope to see you again soon.

Located on the ground floor at D'Albora Marina, Nelson Bay.
A spare of the moment decision took us to Nelsons Bay. We visited Mavericks on the bay, we were lucky enough to get a table by the window edge (the bar/restraunt) area is open to the elements so you can sit an wile away the day sipping on a cocktail day dreaming about living life on a luxury yatch whilst the sun kisses your skin. The restraunt is family friendly they have a small kids menu. The adult menu has a good variety of meals. The prices are reasonable and the meals are a good size without being oversized.

Located in the picturesque Nelson Bay, the Hope Taphouse radiates with rock and roll, good vibes and sunshine. You can find us upstairs at 3 Stockton St, Nelson Bay NSW. So bring a few friends and let us share with you exactly why we love our beer and why
What a rude arrogant person this one is behind the bar!! The one with tatts all over him as he wouldnt give me his name. After spending the day at Nelson Bay the kids and I ordered a large cheese pizza here patiently waiting 30 mins before then asking him if it would be coming out soon. Well was not expecting what was then to come out of his mouth! Telling me I had bad attitude and if I didnt like it to leave! Hey im not the one that forgot to even put the order through here and im sure thats no way to speak to a customer. Got my money back, rang your manager then went to Murrays Brewery which is 5 stars compared to here. Will not be back and as a local "word of mouth counts"! Honestly hospitality does not suit this person!!!

Super quick visit for an after dinner night cap. Really busy and popular hotel with beautiful relaxed decor. As weâd already eaten we were only planning a quiet drink before going back to our hotel ... the dishes being served at surrounding tables looked spectacular. The wine list was very impressive and I was very happy to see a favourite vineyard from a trip to orange (angullong) had multiple offerings. The shared dessert of sticky date pudding was the best weâve ever had
