Family meal for hubbyâs 50th. Food was excellent! Cause it was his birthday we got two for one entree and free dessert. Our son had a good choice from the kids menu. The food is greatly improved from when this place was Jacksonâs. Our only complaint was the bar service. We had to ask where drinks were and one that never showed was even on the bill!

Went with a group of 10 people as soon as we entered the restaurant the lady welcomed us with a smile got us seated to our table with menus already setting for us ...listening to the music Elvis Presley, Johnny cash, willie Nelson was suitable with the kind of atmosphere. I had half and half which was combination dish of beef rubs and pork ribs with fries and salad ,it was so damn tasty!!! Some of our table ordered say uncle burger was a massive good looking burger. It was a busy night and the server came and explained to us that there is a wait for 20 minutes .With my experience n this restaurant was really good. The atmosphere , the music was good the food was good, staff were friendly so nothing was disappointed me.I'll definitely will go back soon!

Four of us visited for a second time using a voucher. We created our own grazing table of dishes from the menu and shared the joy. Plenty to like and we will be back again! A strong supporter of New Zealand with a selection of 6 local beers on tap. This little bar/restaurant is very popular with the locals and the food certainty is part of the deal. We went for the veggie Tacos and calamari salad and we were both very pleased with the well presented dishes.

Dropped in for a quick predinner beer tasting with a friend. The bar tender was super friendly and knew her beers well. Also knew what order to serve them and recommendations to personal taste profiles. We looked over the options for dinner but decided to try a restaurant further down the road. For beer I would recommend this place for a tasting.

My first experience at this place was highly disappointing, but this time it had significantly improved. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, I can never eat all my meal so when I left food on my plate it wasn't for any other reason than being extremely full. Great service for a busy Friday night. The warmth from the fire burning inside, was a nice welcome on a cold night. The ribs, garlic loaf, lamb and decadent desserts were very satisfying. Lots of parking available outside. Some entertaining patrons in the bar, which was an extra bonus.Thank you Talaleu for your wonderful feedback. We so appreciate you sending us your thoughts.
