Had a group table for dinner, near to the windows. Good menu with plenty of variety, reasonable pricing. Ordered at the counter, meals werenât to long coming, they arrived fresh and everyone got what they ordered. I donât think there were any complaints from the group.Venue was tidy and clean, plenty of seating and some with views of the park/ river.Beer from the tap was cold and tasted fresh....Very important!!Not a bad spot.

Food was good, very friendly staff, good range of drinks. What I really loved was the gambling area was away from the bar area and the drinkers, could buy my keno or tote or poker machine change in private. Carpet badly needs cleaning, but it's a great friendly club. Will come back next time in Devonport. Didn't like idea of paying for parking but then found out from a member that parking is free after 4pm.

Love how the menu explains the different levels of cooking steaks. We chose medium and it was done to perfection. Mashed potatoes and salad were average but creme brûlée was great value for dessert.we live in a spud area but yes potatoes we have been getting is not up standard .harvest is ongoing now and we should get the good quality mash again

the food usually good value for money, salad bar can be the same but sometimes not so fresh. We have experienced an unpleasant waitress who took away wheelie walker with handbag and placed them far away close to an exit door ...my friend had no hope of getting to her walker by herself but the waitress stated it was in the way...we found this very rude. Please accept our apologies as I fully agree and I cannot explain why this would have occurred. Obviously we need to maintain clear pathways for all guests but I am sure we could have possibly found a better solution for your friend where she could have kept her walker within reach. Again, our sincere apologies

We went here for a special treat the Wednesday after Easter.Arrived around 7:15 pm. We ordered our main course which was very nice. My husband went to look at the board for the dessert menu. He told me what he wanted & I went up to order only to find they stopped serving & closed the hatch. Apparently they stop serving food at 8 pm. Not one member of staff had told us this when we ordered our main, nor did they mention they were about to close to my husband when he went to look at the board. We were not the only ones either there were families & other diners in the same situation. Ended up walking down to McDonalds for an ice cream sundae. Not very good customer service in my opinion. Staff need to communicate to their patrons. It would have been nice if someone had said the kitchen was closing & asked if we would like anything else.

My wife and I were travelling from Launceston to Burnie and stopped here for dinner one night. Service was polite and friendly and meals were delivered pretty quickly. There was a great selection of meals and we ordered and entree size each, which was plenty for us. And reasonably priced. Good selection of Tasmanian wines to choose from as well. We would have not hesitation dining here again. Recommend.

Recently had lunch here after going to Latrobe shopping. I had the Chorizo arranccini balls with salad was fantastic. Also try a glass of Ghost rock pinot gris very nice. Thanks for your review Naomi. The arancini was a special of the day that will have to make an appearance again soon! Our range of locally made Ghost Rock wines also make a great accompaniment to most meals too.Kind regards
