Casual, Western-orientated place with practically no local food options but we were on the hunt for dessert so popped in here for pancakes and ice cream. There seemed to be only one cook on duty so it took a full 45 minutes for our food to arrive. It was worth the wait, but unless youâve got time to kill, or oodles of patience, Iâd keep looking.

Lovely view overlooking the ocean, which you wouldnât expect from the roadside. Itâs peaceful and Baboo is super friendly. We had breakfast which was tasty with decent portions and fresh ingredients. So.. Iâve been spending a lot of time at Maivies - both alone and in larger groups. This amazing, friendly and cozy place is suitable for both. And they even do freaking delivery!! With the most welcoming staff and the, dare I say, most tasty pizza in Southern Sri Lanka, I would most definitely recommend a visit. Go see for your self!Hi Ida, thank you for taking the time to drop us a review- we loved being able to serve you your fav pizza - number 5 no cheese extra feta if I remember correctly. The view was gorgeous, we came right at sunset and it was amazing. It is lovely sitting right at the beach, and it is very calming. Great service, and food. The pizza is fresh and delicious, and the put your own toppings is a great feature.

Read the reviews and made it for lunch we had fish curry and arak prawns both very tasty. Outlook is spectacular and like previous posts mention sunset cocktails woulb be pretty good. Staff were incredible, l mentioned it was my wife's birthday and they surprised her with a beautiful desert birthday cake, we will definitely be going back you won't be disappointed hey Brendan,Thank you for dinning with us and sharing your experience with such kind words.
