We have been going to the butter factory on a regular basis for the incredible pastries. baked in house by head chef Luke wakefield and his team. The pastries are superb. The best croissants I have ever had along with a myriad of other delights. On Friday we went for the tasting menu and had a fantastic meal. They had my favourite rum Goslings so I had a long cool Rum and dry ginger ale with loads of ice and fresh lime. Mel had a G & T. It was the first warm day of the year and they set the evening off. We were sitting in the Store part of the building which is small and intimate.Home made sourdough and a dark rye with fennel seeds came fresh and warm from the oven.after that a plate of tasty treats arrived. A piece of crispy trout skin topped with smoked yoghurt and caviar a mussel tartare and a beetroot waffle with an apple puree. All delicious.Next came a beautifully soft and crunchy piece of pork belly on top off some soft black pudding with some apply sauce. One of my favourite taste combinations. The last of the savouries was a large confit chicken maryland with the crispiest skin. This was accompanied by a broad bean mouse a smoky mayo and a sublime chicken jus. We then had a blackberry and champagne sorbet topped with fresh fruits it managed to be sweet and cleansing at the same time.To finish we had a great Lochlean blue and a soft cheese with an apple fan prunes and dried cranberries. With the meal we shared a battle of 2014 Shiraz from our favourite local winery Maygars hill. The tasting menu is an amazingly low $65 for a meal of such class. If you are a local or passing through. I cannot recommend it enough.

New owners have recently taken over. A fabulous menu consisting of share platters, light lunches, & main meals (huge). I had Arancini with salad $10, my friend had stuffed mushrooms & salad (fresh), both meals were delicious. Good coffee & friendly service, very reasonable prices.

Remember when going to a cafe in a small country town was an ordeal? Well in this one the ordeal was which delicious meal to choose. I had the mushrooms on toast and loved their version, with a poached egg added. Others loved the baked eggs or the egg and bacon roll. Coffees were just right, another pleasant surprise. Service was friendly and efficient. Inside was nice but you could sit on the footpath or out the back. Overall ambience was very nice. Prices less than Melb. The place was packed so that tells you something as this town has a lot of cafes for the size. Can't really fault the place. If you are here from Melbourne you won't be missing out!

Across the road from the Euroa Caravan Park easy to get to. 4 adults and 1 teenager. Everyone's meal was to die for. No complaints and all plates empty. The staff very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere very welcoming. Will not hesitate to eat there again.
