Not many places to eat driving around but this place was an they were cooking up a storm! We all were seated and with limited staff they served up fresh, hot, food for everyone. Bar was open too. And with sheets of rain pouring outside they laid on the Texas hospitality and made us feel so at home. I had a sushi plate which I had not had in years. Too good! Sushi #A is a good value. Try this place.

Authentic Thai Cuisine, nearest large City is Houston, Texas
Great place for lunch. For $10.95 you can get their lunch special and appetizer buffet ($2 extra if you get shrimp in your entree). Having said that, our group of 5 all agreed that the appetizers were way better than our entrees (Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and Pad Kee Mao). If you just get the appetizer buffet, it is $9.95. Next time I will either just get that, or try the Cashew Chicken or Chicken with Peanut Sauce (the 3 people who Pad Thai did not care for it - even though that is our typical âgo toâ at other Thai restaurants). We also liked the Thai Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea ($3.50 each). Back to the appetizer bar â it is awesome and has a wide selection of choices, including sushi, tempura vegetables, crispy spring rolls, and Tom Kha Gai soup which is chock full of delicious veggies (tip: the chicken falls to the bottom of the vat so if you want meat, scoop down there). If youâre debating going here for the first time, highly recommend you try it during lunch, so you can enjoy the appetizer bar and try an entree so you can decide for yourself. Personally, Iâll definitely return but would not recommend the Pad Thai to anyone. Note: there are no take-out containers. So if you fill up on appetizers, you cannot take your leftover entree home. The service is also not super friendly.

I sat at the sushi bar. It was a busy friday night but was able to find a spot immediately. The waiter was very quick to introduce himself and take my drink order. I ordered 2 rolls and did some people watching while i waited. The rolls came out relatively quickly and were delicious. I recommend the U&I and Tiger Eye. (I have also had the alfredo roll and the edamame on a different occasion) very clean restaurant located in market street next to a theater and the pavilion. Lots of shopping located near as well.

This is a good choice if you want something Chinese with no MSG and good flavors but aren't expecting a wild kitchen show or overly fancy. I asked for extra spicy General Tso's chicken and it was not spicy by my standards. The chicken was fork-tender for cutting however. My hot & sour soup was good and there was plenty of yellow hot mustard on the table to kick my dishes into the heat I like. Good value, good experience.

My wife and I went for lunch and left a bit disappointed. This was our first time weâd visited the woodlands location and the food was good as weâve come to expect from Houston location, however the ambiance was very different. We had a table beside the tills and I was sat looking at untidy shelves with rolls of receipts and cleaning products etc. On top of that the staff stood around there laughing and joking amongst themselves which I found quite offputting as it was so close to our table. Maybe a take on the overall attitude but most of the staff didnât seem to be particularly interested and had their shirts hanging out etc.My wifeâs food arrived well before mine which is a real pet hate of mine, either one person starts by themselves or the other person sits with nothing while the other eats. Not the end of the world but I certainly didnât leave feeling that it was a particularly good experience despite the food being good. If I do go back it definitely wonât be for lunch, I do suspect they probably up their game in the evenings in terms of service.Rudhachs,The Blue Fish Restaurants would like to thank you for sharing your experience at The Blue Fish Woodlands. Formerly known as Hubbell & Hudson Bistro, TRIS is Chef Austin Simmons' newest concept in The Woodlands. We're the perfect setting for a quick, casual lunch; a high-end dinner for an intimate night out; or a spot to meet friends over Happy Hour in our bar
TRIS is the old Hubbel and Hudson, which was one of my favorite restaurants in the Woodlands. I dined here with a friend on a Saturday night for Houston Restaurant week. The food and drinks were excellent. I found the pork especially well prepared. The service was slower than I expected. The restaurant was quite crowded and you would think they would want to turn tables over faster especially given the crowd. Every dish we had was delicious. I was not disappointed with the overall experience and will be back.Thank you for your review, Samantha - we look forward to dining with you again soon!

Good Japanese food at moderate prices.
Friendly service, really nice food. Simply a good place. Staff had that balance of a sense of humour and a good level of service. Portions generous, good selection of dishes. Little outside of the main area of the woodlands but worth the trip. Iâll be back !

restaurant very beautiful and service was great. I had never eaten at this chain before. Sauces made the food for sure. Although i was expecting to order a combo meal with my hubby . i quickly learned there menu is not like that. I went in knowing i would order my fav chicken chow mein but pj changs do not offer that or combo meals. With that in mind i would probably not eat at this chain as often maybe for special occasions. Its a little more pricey than most chineese as well.
