For fresh ingredients and bold flavour, dine in at Royal India Restaurant. We're the best Indian restaurant in Gent, Belgium. Lot of choices in vegetarian , non vegetarian and Vegan :-). Authentic Indian food with royal hospitality. Welcome
As a Ghentian and certified city guide, I enjoy the sensational Indian food every time I come here. I started with a signature coconut scampi soup with fresh herbs: truly amazing. As a main dish I had - not for the first time - traditional chicken tikka masala accompanied with rice and garlic naan bread. Good portions and o so delicious. I suppose a real home cooked meal in India must taste like this.I cannot recommend this hidden gem in Ghent enough. Not to mention the excellent service and hospitality of the owners.Thank you so much for taking out the time to appreciate our food and hospitality. We were happy to host you at royal India and surely looking forward to host you again soon with pleasure. Royal India serves authentic home cooked food at affordable price . Thanks for being a royal guest at royal India

Great dim sum, sushi and sashimi. A bit more expensive than your average Japanese restaurant, bot worthwhile. The interior of the restaurant could be a bit more enchanting.

I was here for the second time and I must say that I am a happy customer. The service was really good and the sushi was really nice. We will be back!

The service was very quick and considerate, as always, at Sapporo, but the food was again not very special. The omelette sushi was not tasty, just as the tuna tartare sushi. The teppan yaki beef was also very chewy. The shrimp, calamari, potatoes, noodles, etc were very oily. The only dishes I truly enjoyed were the dim sum (but not sure if it is fresh) and the "botervis sashimi."I would not recommend this restaurant if you like to have a high quality Japanese dinner, but if you like to eat in big quantities, this might be right up your alley.

Definitely the best place to eat Indian food and for a reasonable price. Reserve a table because other people find this good food also. I had the tali and a great mango lassi. Very sweet staff, want you to enjoy their food. No,its not on a fancy spot at the water, or sunny heated terrace but the food and price is really good.

Small local familyrestaurant with open kitchen. The speciality are our handmade noodles. Possible to eat them in a plate or in a soup. Nice cooked and fried rice corner. Price quality product! Your satisfaction is our goal.
Kids had mentioned theyâd fancied noodles in day time and came across this gem on trip advisor. Loved the food and hosts were fab. Will visit again. Thanks a lot for your nice visit... and the kids were great

As a cooking technique the wok is age old, dating back to the early Chinese dynasties; a technique that our specialized chefs, fearless of the impressive flames, master in every detail. As a dining experience our wok restaurant is absolutely an innovation
Try it once if nothing else. Although set up like a resturant it is self service other than drinks. We were in a group of 11. The table was in the rear of the building, with the other groups that had booked. Space enough though. If your going on a weekend reservation is a must. Very busy and gets noisy, dont expect an intimate night out.Service for drinks was slow, even had to remind the staff of one order. The food has a good enough choice, everything is buffet style. take what you want when you want. Good to see the choice for mains is laid out for you to choose then you take it to the chef`s choose your sauce and its cooked in front of you, cant get more freshly cooked than that. This was our 3rd or 4th visit, and still cant really complain. Dont expect fine chinese dining, it maybe basically fast food, but there arnt any other fast food places where the main course can been seen pre cooked.Overall price for the 11 of us was about 440 euro. and for the eats as much as you want with the drinks cant be that bad. The drinks are not included in the original price so be careful.
