Not sure why this place has such great reviews because it isn't all that.. The food on the buffet was kinda bland but there was a good assortment.. We witnessed a waitress get food off of the buffet and put it on a plate with other food already on there from the kitchen and serve it to someone that didn't want the buffet and ordered from the menu.. That same waitress grabbed egg rolls off the buffet with her bare hands and put them on the plates of a table that ordered off the menu.. If they wanted buffet food they would have gotten the buffet.

Across the street from University of South Alabama next to a restaurant called Camille's - very good local japanese restaurant that is popular
I should not have been surprised to have suffered disappointment by this restaurant, positioned in a strip mall adjacent to the University of South Alabama, but somehow the name "Chef Sake" inspired confidence in the establishment. If you are just starting out in the world of sushi, and you enjoy a deep-fried experience smothered in sauce sweet enough to shatter your teeth, you will not be disappointed with Chef Sake. However, if you prefer to experience a variety of flavors in your rolls, including that of the actual fish, I recommend to-go sushi from the Whole Foods on Airport Blvd over this restaurant. The prices are a bit higher than average and there are no free refills on sodas.

We were looking specifically for a menu-service restaurant and saw good reviews, so we took a chance. So glad we did. Husband had General's Chicken with fried rice, spring roll, and egg drop soup. Mine was a daily special with mixed meats and asparagus in a brown sauce with white rice and egg drop soup. Hot tea all around. We had good, pleasant service, tasty food, and a wonderful price. We look forward to returning.

Hibachi
This place is very big, so we have never had to wait for a table. The sushi is excellent, I have not had a bad roll. The hibachi is very good as well, the kids love it.

Thai Diner serves a good meal with ample lunch portions but they need to work on their spice level. Our table ordered either Hot or Thai Hot and all our food arrived with the same spice level which had a little heat but was not in any way spicy. That being said, the food was very good, service was quick and the prices very reasonable. This is definitely place to re-visit for dinner to see the expanded menu.

Small selection of the Indian favorites like TikkaMasala, Tandoori chicken, chicken curry, vegetable korma, add in the Mo:Mo which is a stuffed dumpling particular to Nepal (think pierogi or Gyoza, pit sticker, fried pie). They come in lamb, chicken or vegetable. Today was lamb. Donât eat lamb so not to my taste. The salad bar is not... iceberg salad and a few sauces.Lunch costs $9.50 pp no drink. This is small buffet but if you are unfamiliar with the cuisine, you will be able to taste a bit until you find something you like. I found the vegetable korma quite good as was the tandoori chickenLocated behind Chick-fil-A in strip mall.

Really enjoyed our lunch from appetizer to dessert. We started with the Pad Thai nachos, served cold, and finished with bread pudding, served warm. Service was friendly and noise levels were good. Definitely would return, the daily specials looked really interesting.
