We provide the most delicious Chinese food in the North Shore. Conveniently located in Peabody Mass, Jade's bring great quality and value to its traditional American Chinese Cuisine
Our original lunch option fell through so I found this restaurant through the idine site when I searched for something near our hotel, the Holiday Inn Peabody. We arrived and were welcomed and promptly seated. The waiter brought us each water. We both ordered off the lunch menu. I had the #14-Lobster Sauce, Beef Teriyaki, and chose Pork Fried rice over steamed rice. I had no idea what Lobster Sauce was and later found out that it contains ground pork, black beans, eggs, and spices. It was very good given that I had no idea what I was eating at the time. The teriyaki and fried rice were both good. My other half, who thought the food reminded him of his favorite Asian restaurant when he was growing up in Littleton, had the #1-Subgum Chow Mein with chicken, egg roll, and also chose the Pork Fried rice over the steamed rice. He also had a bowl of hot & sour soup. Everything was very good, waters were refilled often, and there was a constant flow of diners. Many were regulars, but we were treated just as well but without the same familiarity. If we're back in the area again, this will be on our list of possibilities as long as it remains in the idine program. Glad we found it!

Had the Vietnamese pork and shrimp salad with an avocado smoothie. It was a good meal with the flavors and seasonings I enjoy without the cost. A very good value meal with home cooked Vietnamese style food.

The food is very good and large servings. The service is brisk but accurate. Prices are fair.

Su Chang's is about 45 minutes from my home, so can't make it my every day Chinese spot, but it really should be... it's that good. My recent dinner reminded me that I need to make more of an effort to make the drive to Peabody. Our dinner was excellent. The chow here is miles above what you find at other Chinese restaurants. We loved everything we had.... won ton soup, spring rolls, spare ribs (meaty, amazing), perfect pan fried dumplings, shrimp and lobster sauce (the lobster sauce here is great, never had better), pea tendrils (when a restaurant offers pea tendrils it's a sign that they know what they are doing... a sign of quality). My Mai Tai was just right, as well as my wife's mixed drink. Service here is excellent as well, so all in all a wonderfully satisfying dining experience.

We tried this place for the first time this week because it was recommended by a family member. The food was near excellent. The vegetables were very fresh. Chinese food is typically pretty salty but this was acceptable. I had the Spicy Szechuan Chicken. At first I though it was ho-hum but then the spices kicked in and I couldn't get enough - excellent. I'll have the leftovers tomorrow. The restaurant was quiet last night (Tuesday) with a couple tables occupied and folks at the bar. We did takeout so I cannot speak to the service for dining in. We will order from here again.

Hear the egg rolls calling your name, and General Gau's Chicken beckoning your belly. You know it is time for Chinese food.
From the outside, the China Villa looks like a seedy roadhouse. We were daring and when we stepped inside, the wood paneling walls and front barroom reinforced the notion that the place might be not worth the visit. We noticed right away that the place was packed with locals so we knew we were on to something. Once seated, our food came right away and boy were we pleasantly surprised! Our dishes were very tasty. The brown sauce on our vegetables was fantastic - we haven't had a brown sauce this good since leaving Ohio. Our daughter's chicken was some of the finest we have ever see. It was pretty clear that this place uses the finest ingredients. We'll be back soon.

Delicious Thai cuisine in the heart of Danvers. Our extensive menu includes Thai favorites such as Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Tom Yum Soup and Curry Dishes as well as tasty original dishes including Chilies Duck, Ramayana Beef Steak, Ocean Buddy and more. W
Went here with some work colleagues, including one from Singapore, and one from Malaysia, and these two folks ahd suggested that it was VERY tasty food, with an authentic Thai flavor. They were correct!FOOD:-Appetizers were superb! Cooked perfectly, with just the right mix of fresh vegetables, and flavorings. See pictures. Excellent. Chicken wings and Spring rolls tasty too.-Dinners: WOW - tasty! We got four dinners, and shared them amongst ourselves. One had a smokey (sort of) flavor, that someone said was Thai Curry - a spectacular flavor for sure! One of the dinner's had a hint of ginger, and some other exotic spices as well. See pictures. The shrimp and chickens were cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right. Everything was really good!BEVERAGES: The Pellegrino sparkling water was cold and tasty. For a wine, we got the La Crema Montery Pinot Noir (red wine) = what a great flavor, and aftertaste too - a hint of sweetness, as well as great flavor (recommended).ATMOSPHERE: Small place, but great for a family or couples dinner, as well as business meeting. Clean too! Also, I loved how they made a flower decoration, from the straw wrapper (see photo)â¦.SERVICE: Very good - attentive to the customer, without overkill. Nicely done.PRICES: Decent! 4 of us, with tip, ran about $160. So we DO RECOMMEND you try this - loved the authenticity of the Thai food flavor!

Blue fin was the selection for my son's 42 birthday. We took him and his 33 month old daughter and we had a great time.We had reservations which I made on-line and were seated immediately. The table was preset with a high chair. Parking was right outside.Started out with drinks: my wife a Blue Fin Cocktail ($8.75) which was very blue, me: Large Hot Saki ($8.00) which was hot, my son: Kurosawa ($18) which was steep. My granddaughter was served up a nice cold cup of water with a straw. The waitress was very accommodating to the young one making suggestions along the way.We then had some appetizers Butabara Kushi ($2.50) which is pork belly, Yakitori with scallion Kushi ($2.00) which is chicken, and Steak Kushi ($3.50). These were all skewered bite size pieces. We shared the Yakitori with our young one and she loved it.We decided to go all out with a $100 sushi boat (50 pieces chef selection). The boat was very attractive and the server took the time to tell us what the various items were. We all enjoyed the sushi and found the scallops were the best. Octopus was the toughest but still tasty. The spider roll (soft shell crab) was delicious as well. We found that there was generally at least one piece of each type of sushi for each of the 3 adults meaning we all had the opportunity to sample the fair. The boat came with Miso soup for each adult. We enjoyed the soup and shared it with your young grandaughter who loved it.My grandaughter had a kids plate ($7.50) with corn and fried chicken served with ketchup. Our server told us to order another item and we chose steamed dumplings. She enjoyed the corn and chicken but passed on the dumplings possibly because we dipped the first piece in soy sauce. I think she may have eaten it if we gave it to her sans soy sauce.Again, service was excellent. Our server also took photos for us and brought out a piece of ginger ice cream for our son (with a candle). Our granddaughter wasn't the only young one in the place. Drinks were reasonably priced except the pricey Kurosawa (bottle cold saki). The Large Sushi boat at $100 seems expensive but it could have fed 4 comfortably...both my son and I love sushi so we went with the largest boat.Dress is casual and this is NOT a fancy Boston Sushi place (meaning this doesn't have the super high end sushi but also it doesn't carry the super Boston prices. We are repeat customers and we will return.
