In my opinion when a sushi place is near an airport but is never crowded there is a reason... food. Not that the place isnât decent but with the name Izumi you expect good Japanese. Well, not so much. The rolls lack flavor and the menu seems to lean away from traditional Japanese. If you want a decent happy hour deal then ok but if you want good Japanese... not so much! Hi,Robert! Thank you for taking time to write a review for us!This is Li, owner of Izumi, truly sorry to hear of that you weren't sold in our place. We do have extensive japanese menu other than happy hour menu! Could you please email me at [email protected] for more expectation where people will expect for izumi,we will really appreciat!. So that we can better improve our product to make a better place .Hopefully see you again to see some improvement from us!

As soon as I stepped through the door of this pleasingly decorated Asian Fusion restaurant, I was struck by the friendly and accommodating staff. They treated me like a valued customer, although this was my first time eating here. The food was good, not exceptional, but the pleasurable experience ensured my return for another visit.

Best Asian food and service I have ever received in all my travels for great/different food. Staff are all professional and speak fluent English and can't seem to do enough for you - food arrives hot and tasty - facility is prestine clean.

We stopped by on the way to the Berkshires from Bradley International airport. Setting is not great, a quiet strip mall a couple doors down from a Subway. We saw that there was broccoli with garlic sauce so took a chance and asked for our favorite, eggplant in garlic sauce, not on the menu. (Known in Chinese as yu xiang chieze.) They made it for us and it was among the best of that dish that we had eaten anywhere including China and Taiwan, not too spicy but spicy enough with thin tender pieces of eggplant. We also had a chicken lo-mein, also among the best we have had. The hot and sour soup was quite good as well. Would definitely stop by again if we pass through Hartford. Staff was very friendly and service was fast and courteous.

Location of this small establishment, a strip mall near the airport, did not inspire confidence but we were hungry passengers wanting comfort and flavor and we were not disappointed. The fireplace, a video monitor, lent good cheer on this very chilly night and the friendly staff (two young gentlemen) were attentive. We began with a lime ginger tea that was deliciously sweet with honey and warmed our souls as we drank. Two orders of Pho, one chicken, one steak, were preceded by an order of pot stickers. We were pleased with the flavoring, the heat, the freshness of the vegetable ingredients and the texture of the pot stickers. Definitely going back to try some more dishes and will leave extra time before or after a flight to stop in.

Craving some Thai food we took the long way home to have dinner here for the first time. What a pleasant little restaurant, clean and nicely decorated. A order of steamed Edaname was simple but done well, and a bottle of wine for $20 while we made decisions on our entree. My wife got the lemon grass chicken with two sauces a peanut & sweet and sour , chicken was grilled and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I ordered the wild boar basil pieces of meat with green beans, onion , pepper in a slightly spicy brown cause absolutely delicious. most meals come with a bowl of rice we got the white rice. So we had a appie , bottle of wine and two meals for less the $60!! You won't find better food around for that price !! We will be going back again soon !

part of the restaurant group taking over Granby and driving up prices at local eateries, Han is ok. Varied menu of general east Asian entrees and sushi. Not enough Duck on the menu, just one or two oversauced options. Food is fine, but nothing to rave about.

I went there with a friend. We wanted pho and wanted to check out a new place. The staff was nice, but we both agreed we have had better pho elsewhere. Also, this is not the place to be in the winter unless you can get a seat in the rear of the restaurant, away from the door.
