Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Coral Coast. Located on the southwestern side of the main island of Viti Levu, the Coral Coast has been a popular holiday destination for many years. It was one of the very first areas in Fiji to be developed for tourism. There's really nothing better than looking out at the ocean as the waves break on the reef. (On second thought, add a tropical drink to that picture.) Those looking to take in the natural beauty will find many opportunities for diving, fishing, golf and surfing.

It was a day when humidity was around 400%, so we headed upstairs for the cool, and some lunch. This time it wasn't cool. Aircon wasn't on. And the staff were so disinterested I daren't ask them to turn it on. Felt like we were a massive imposition.Food was ok, and still large serves.

Staying in a resort can be fun but the food can (occasionally) be bland when mass produced. We took the dollar bus into Sigatoka town in the quest for flavoursome food. Most fortunate where we to find Rajâs Curry House and our host Prem didnât disappoint. The boneless fish curry was splendid as were the accompanying dishes.Hospitality is first class and the prices will leave you flush with money for the Sigatoka markets.Donât be misled by the location (near roundabout) or the exterior as this food is worth the search and the hospitality is well ... Fijian. Enjoy!!Vinaka Vakalevu

Rik's is a very small little restaurant across the street from the resort we were staying at and we didn't get a chance to try last year. This year we gave it a try. The restaurant has about 6 tables and is very plain. We ordered at they counter and at first the person was not to friendly but was a little better later on. I ordered Lamb Curry, tomato chutney, rice and Dhal soup. My food was good nice curry taste and the soup was very good. My wife had the Chili Chicken and rice. The flavor was good but there was only 3 little pieces of chicken. If there would have been more chicken the dish would have been a lot better. If you go there don't order the Chili Chicken and since one person returned the chop suey and several other people left it on their plate I would suggest not ordering these two dishes.

I ate at the street site, not the upstairs wine/dine. One of the locals i bumped into in town took me here when i asked him a good place to eat. Seems it's where all the locals dine ( & tourists). Cheap as, a large menu using local produce ( I ordered off the board rather than from the bain marie), tasty food cooked well in a safe clean establishment. Nice!

The food was authentic and well priced. We visited this restaurant twice during our 8 night stay at the Shangri La.First visit we indulged in the seafood options of lobster and mudcrad..which was well cook and delicious. The second visit we took the curry option which again was terrific.Don't let the décor or shop front put you off...the food was great and you BYOG....warning however the bottle shop across the road doesn't have a very good selection of white wine..but of course good local beer.

Firstly, the food is sensational. Secondly, the staff are fun, professional, polite and friendly. We were a group of 4 and ordered 4 dishes as well as their Special Fried Rice and shared the plates. Highly recommended (especially the Sizzling Pepper Beef - YUM!)

Beach bar grill Fiji has best local seafood, best steaks with best rusti atmosphere .
We enjoyed great food at a reasonable price while staying at the much more expensive Outrigger Resort. Helpful staff, even took the 18mth old for a walk so his mother could eat in peace.
