We used to use this take away many years ago and this was our first return visit after 20 years. The restaurant has seating to eat in also. We had a take away for 5 people which was delicious and amongst the best I have had in recent years. Well cooked and tasty. There was a mix up on collection which meant an additional 5 minute wait for the food.Bedankt voor uw komst!

After good previous experiences we decided to have the Indonesian Rijsttafel as our 3rd Christmas dinner. I ordered in advance and when we came to pick it up, it was already available. For 8 people including extra baked rice we paid a total of 136,50 (yes, for take out!) but thought it would be worth the money.Back at home we noticed two things:- very small portions- the food was lukewarmWhat a disappointment! The nicest food was the baked rice, the meatballs and baked banana. The sate pieces were tiny, the baked pork was tough, the vegetables were greasy and tasteless. And the size of the portions was really small. Next time we're going to another restaurant.

Its nice to go to a Chinese restaurant and be able to order somewhat traditional food.Menu has a very good selection, prices may seem high but most dishes are to be shared.We were a table for two and 2 portions of rice and one main sharer. Plus a starter was more than enough for us.Staff were efficient and friendly, food came out relatively quickly as it was a busy time.I'll go back next time I'm in the city.

. There was one big table with about 20 people who all like nice food, good wines and AGA Cookers. Arthur is a wonderful cook and Marjan his wife is the perfect host. The place is authentic and cosy. Private dining or participating in this Table d'hÃ´te are the only ways to eat at this place. Personally we would have appreciated a bigger portion of vegetables and sharing cheese plate per 4 instead of per 6 persons would have been more convenient. A lovely place in a nice town. We hebben gisteravond weer een table dhote avond gehad en dachten daarbij ook aan jullie. Hoe gaat het met jullie. Als jullie prachtige wijngaard zover is dat jullie trotse eigenaren zijn van mooie flessen wijn dan zullen wij deze met volle trots gaan schenken en hopen dat jullie er dan een keer bij zijn om de juiste uitleg en het verhaal erbij te kunnen vertellen. I found this recommended restaurant on TripAdvisor, and was not disappointed. We reserved a table on-line through The Fork (via TripAdvisor) -- as we booked at the last minute, this was a very positive opportunity. We found it easily, about a 10 minute drive from our hotel. The restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was outstanding. We ordered a variety of entrees from mild to super spicy, and everyone in our group of five left happy and contented. The overall price was excellent, and we paid less than 20 Euros apiece including libations. I would recommend Khop Khun to anyone who likes authentic Thai food -- and suggest that you book in advance, because the restaurant is limited in size. Loved it here. Very fresh sushi, delicious gyoza and edamame. My mother had the seabass main course which was fabulous as well. Real pity we didn't have time for the macha icecream!

This is not sensu stricto a restaurant. It is a place where after reservation you can get cooking lessons and eat what you have cooked, but I think it can fall under the restaurant category since during and after cooking your meal you are treated as a restaurant guest with full service and drinks, snacks and amuses served by professional waiters. There is not any cleaning up to do so it is all pure luxury and even if you can't cook at all they will help you through. However, you have to reserve in advance to enter the cooking class. We had great fun there: the instructors are marvelous, you not only learn new things (even if you are very experienced already in cooking), but also see how a professional kitchen deals with hygiene and you will probably learn some new handy tricks.They offer several choices of menu's. We had the Dutch menu with the local ingredients from the region and this was great. The ingredients were really superb, e.g. the local goose, fish and meat; not to forget the local honey and apples for the desert.There is also a wine tasting after the cooking where you can choose the best wine for each of the courses.The place is in the historical Bodegraven station (hence the name kookstation) and the restaurant part is really cute (if you don't mind now and then seeing a train stop in front of your window). There is really no better place to reach by train than this place since the back door exit is right at the train entrance for the direction Leiden (step to the other side if you need to go direction Amsterdam). It is anyway recommended to go by train since you will be tempted for so much alcoholics to drink that driving a car would be not a good idea.
