Got delivery from this place and couldn't eat it. It was a mess of goopy gross slop Even the dumplings( usually predictably decent ) were gross. There was so much five spice on everything that it was all I could taste. Everything seemed like reheated frozen food with five spice dumped on it. There may be a cook or two there but there certainly isn't a chef!

we reserved the day before, expecting 14 people, with no problem. there was no problem changing the reservation to 8 the day of (a tuesday). they were ready for us and had pushed some tables together. we were seated immediately. the server was friendly and attentive. maybe they don't have a lot of staff on tuesdays or maybe someone was out sick; either way the server said she was working alone. we didn't feel neglected and she did check on us several times. everyone (including two people who really know good Chinese food when they find it) enjoyed their food. portions were large - everyone took something home. everything arrived hot without too long a wait. we had ordered several dishes to share and the waitress kindly offered to line them up on an empty table like a buffet, or leave them on our table to pass around. prices were consistent with most other Chinese places in the area. we sat in a dining room and there is a bar room also.
I've gotten take out from here couple of times. Food is mostly good, though not consistent. Delivery time usually is around 45 to 60 minutes or so. I've gotten the garlic chicken, beef with broccoli, curry style chicken and kung pao chicken. Even though its mentioned that the garlic and curry style chicken are spicy, it really isn't. Also have gotten the tom yum soup, wanton and hot and sour soup. Tom yum was pretty oily though the other two were pretty good. Also their valentine roll is pretty good. Overall decent spot, wish they were more consistent and had shorter delivery times.

I have been coming here for years and honestly it has gone down hill the past several visits. We used to LOVE coming here but something has changed! Hubby and I decided to grab takeout and go eat by the water at Colt Park. Figured chinese would be a fun thing to bring. I started with wonton soup (delicious), hubby had hot and sour soup which he loved too.I had the chicken lo mein combination (serves with fried rice and mini egg roll). The lo mein had zero flavor, fried rice was just ok (had to put duck sauce on it to flavor it up) and the egg rolls were good, but really small. Hubby had the Szechuan Chicken combination and he disliked all of it aside from the small egg roll. He too said it was flavorless. Not sure what is going on here, but I hope they realize that they are going down hill and will likely lose a lot od repeat customers due to this.

One word sums this place up-DIRTY. The eat in portion of the restaurant has certainly seen better days-everything was caked with grime. We also watched the chef taste food from the pot with the spoon he was cooking with. I have not been back since.

Dinner for 5 was great! We started with appetizers of fried Calamari and Nim Chow. Both were excellent. Our waitress was very accommodating, service was excellent! The fried Duck in coconut milk & vegetables was a bit spice, but very tasty ! Shrimp & cashews and the chicken & cashews were awesome! Salmon in cocunt milk sauce with vegetables was great too! Very clean restaurant! They charge $5.00 per table for BYOB service (very fair). This is a new restaurant only opened for a couple months, there is a beer & wine store next door, for all your BYOB desires! Check it out!

We stopped for an early dinner on our drive from Bristol to Providence. It is conveniently located right along 114. We were greeted nicely. The service was attentive but cool. The tuna poke was not the best. The tempura vegetables included asparagus which was nice. The sushi was constucted nicely and was good, but it was missing pizzaz. Solid decent experience, but no wow factor.

Tong D is probably my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the ambience serene. Special favorites are the spring rolls, scallop pancakes, crispy pad thai and basil fried rice.
