This is a wonderful gallery owned by only local Alaskan artists. There are very unique and beautiful pieces of work, from oil paintings, pottery, handmade jewelry, carved mammoth tooth, etc. This gallery has things you can not find anywhere else.

University of Alaska Museum of the North

The University of Alaska Museum of the North is a thriving visitor attraction, a vital component of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the only research and teaching museum in Alaska. The museum’s research collections – 2.5 million artifacts and specimens – represent millions of years of biological diversity and thousands of years of cultural traditions in the North. UAMN is Open Wednesday - Sunday, 10 AM - 7 PM, Starting July 8th. Admission Sales Close at 6 PM. Hours are Subject to Change.

Alaska House Art Gallery

Authentic Alaskan Native and made in Alaska artwork (over 200 Alaskan artists)! We are dedicated to promoting Alaskan art- carvings, masks, baskets, jewelry, and alaskan made gifts. The gallery is located inside a hand built historic log house, downtown Fairbanks- walking distance from most hotels. The ALaska House was hand built in the early 1930's and has been owned by the Fejes family since 1963. Beautifully maintained inside and out~ are garden is spectacular in the summer!
