Things to do in Squamish
Delicious handmade ice cream produced in small batches right here on the sea to sky corridor (using locally sourced and natural ingredients!)
We've always enjoyed sitting on the patio upstairs watching climbers on the Stawamus Chief when the weather is nice but always found the food pretty ordinary. Always reasonable priced, always really good service, friendly staff and good specials. The restaurant is now closed for a total renovation which only bodes good things in my mind. There are going to have a family area and an all new menu when it reopens late in November 2013.If you are driving up the Sea To Sky highway when the weather is warmer (ie. next year) stop for a view of the climbers.Note: Next May a new chairlift is going to open just south a mile south of the Rock Bar and Grill/ casino that will take you far above the Chief with a view and hiking trails to die for. Can't wait!

The Joinery was a nice change. Its built in a renovated nursery. The ceilings are high and the lights are beautiful. I loved the risotto. I think the drink menu could use a boost. They don't have premium alcohol, and are only open Thurs-Sunday.

Just a down home working man"s home away from home.
Great old timer greasy spoon has all your breakfast needs. Delicious real food just like Grama makes. They even make real ice cream milk shakes. Great locals joint, been around since the old loggers days. A bit pricey though since the new owners took over.

Match Eatery & Public House is the first British-style gastro pub to open in Squamish featuring traditional eats while offering everything from live entertainment to shuffleboard. Just 40 minutes from the North Shore on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway. Our
The place is nicely located and has a modern, simple and clean appearance with plenty of parking and great view. The menu offers a decent range of options including some classic burgers and local twists on poutine. Unfortunately, everything from the onion soup to the fries appear to be previously frozen. Our meals were poorly seasoned, overly salty and carelessly assembled. The food is not bad, just expect something you might find at a chain restaurant.

We were en route to the big city, when we decided to stop for our first meal of the day. It was 12:30, and we were all getting cranky and restless.Mary Ann, our server, was very sweet and attentive! She really took care of us. The food was great, but her cheerfulness and kindness to my big family of 17 hungry diners made our White Spot experience very memorable. Three cheers for Mary Ann! Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!

After checking out the fine town of Sqaumish and it's gritty harbour en route to Vancouver we decided to follow the recommendation of a local from another town (I had previously sampled their fine beer). The brewpub was large and they took no reservations so we waited only briefly for a patio table. The waiter was excellent. He was genuine, attentive and quick. Appeared to be a university student. We ordered seafood and enjoyed it immensely. As I was driving unfortunately had to pass on their beer. They produce a fine Brown Ale.This is a restaurant I would return to ever lucky enough to be in this town again. We did not stay in the noted hotel in this review.

New Orleans Cajun meets the Pacific North West. Our gastro pub features craft foods like smoked beef brisket, ribs, steaks, creative salads and craft beers from B.C In house, locally sourced, organic and sustainable ingredients with uncompromising service
We visited twice last month whilst staying in Squamish. My young daughter is a coeliac so we enquires about gluten free options before being seated. It was not a problem - it was fantastic! The servers were clued up about what she could have on the menu and didnât make us feel like we were being awkward. I was so grateful. The food is great. My husband was a fan of the po boy with dipping gravy and I recommend poutine with brisket! My son loved the chicken and ribs and our daughter was so happy with her gluten free burger. The place had a very cool vibe, some great ales and I sampled the cider! Next time we are back in Canada, I hope we can return to Squamish and The Copper Coil!
