The Dusty Mule bar and grill is owned and operated by a local ranching family. We are excited to serve local beef from Idaho and a variety of other items. We offer a vast selection of Domestic beer, Import Beer and Microbrews
That really says it all. They raise their own beef, and it is delicious. The potato rolls are fresh and really add to the sandwich. We both had their Albino Mule burgers. Excellent. The fries were a lot like the ones my Mom used to make, too.
The food was fabulous and views from the dinning room are outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful, definitely will eat there more often
they were out of schredded cheese and plain chedder cheese. personel were friendly. tables were clean. i liked the open connection to the mexician resturant so easy for our family to have both types of food without having to choose which resturant to go to

Husband and I ran the 2016 Salmon Marathon and were needing a serious lunch. We went to Dave's because they were a sponsor of the event and that's who we'll give our business to!Had a medium (8 slices) combination that was plenty to eat and tasted so wonderfully homemade. Lots of cheese and toppings and Parmesan cheese/crushed red pepper on the table. Basic Coke fountain drinks (I think they had beer). There was a basic salad bar available - looked like an old Pizza Hut salad bar. At 2pm I'm not sure I would've eaten from it.Prices were very reasonable, service friendly. Atmosphere was a typical small town pizza joint. LOVED the pizza and that's what matters!

We should have walked out when we saw the sole waitress "Princess" decked out in her smurf colored unicorn costume but we weree willing to give the restaurant a chance. We were finally able to order about 15 minutes after sitting down. The woman who was cooking came out to greet friends and took our drink order. There were 3 tables ahead of us so with only 2 people working, we assumed there would be a delay in our order. 45 minutes later, our hash breakfast and burger order arrived. "Princess" checked up on us once, when my husband let her know the potatoes weren't quite down, she told him the potatoes are baked before they are grilled so they aren't typical fried potatoes then she turned around and walked away. Big difference between raw potato and baked, but apparently the unicorn knows best. The fake, overly friendly demeanor did not make up for the crappy service. But that's just us adults, maybe it works for others. We won't be back nor would we recommend anyone else go there.

The Shady Nook has the only full service bar and restaurant in Salmon Idaho. We serve the finest quality steaks, fresh fish, home smoked baby back ribs and organic chicken. Great bar food and the best burger you could have. We have a wonderful outdoor pat
While visiting Salmon for several days, we had dinner twice a The Shady Nook. First, the wine list is amazing, especially for such a small, rural town. Although a limited offering, there are very fine wines offered, and at extremely reasonable prices. (This is the reason we came back a second time!). Both our servers were greatâvery friendly, professional, and added to the enjoyment of our dining experience. The entrees: the walleye special the first night was very good but the trout was a bit over-cooked which made it dry even with the sauce (a delightful lime mix). The second night we took advantage of Prime Rib night. The prime rib is hug (16 oz) so we decided to split it which was a good ideaâ-splitting both the prime rib and the wonderful Idaho baked potato was plenty of food for each of us. Plus the prime rib was quite good. We had calamari for our appetizer and it was unremarkable.

Bertramâs Salmon Valley Brewpub and Restaurant is located at the corner of Main and S. Andrewâs streets, in a century-old building in the heart of downtown Salmon. The decor is an eclectic mix of northwestern Rockies and Africana, old and new. Opened in N
This restaurant/brewery was pretty good. Service was very good and they have a wide variety of entree items to suit most anyone. They have the typical craft brews on tap that you find in many small breweries. Bathrooms were clean...a fundamental starting point reflecting good management.

Probably the best place in Salmon but context is everything. Food was pretty good (my wife had the buddha bowl and I had the gnocchi special that night. Service was slow. I understand a small kitchen getting slammed by everyone coming right at dinner time but there was only one waitress and it took awhile to get a beer and place our order.
