Things to do in Saint Johnsbury
We were recommended this new restaurant by the receptionist at our hotel, so decided to give it a try, and we weren't disappointed!Aparantly they have only been open since June, but the staff were very professional, the menu very imaginative and the food well presented and flavoursome. My only criticism would be that they didn't offer a drinks menu, and the drink prices were on the steep side. I wish them success in their new venture

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Maine, and had some sandwiches made fresh to-go. We had a turkey and a vegetarian sandwich, and they were wonderful. Fresh ingredients, expertly made, and very reasonably priced. Will make this the spot to stop whenever we're traveling across northern New England.

So glad to have found Kingdom Crust when we were otherwise out of options for dinner when staying overnight in St Johnsbury last week. Staff was super friendly, good atmosphere & clean dining area, nice beer selection and delicious food. The Mistaman pizza was amazing and we loved the potato tornado!

This is a cozy and friendly place near the railroad tracks in St J's. At lunch, they feature a very varied list of panini, and we tried two of them today. They were very good. Mine was the tuna, and it was made special by little touches, like the split black olives. Very original and inventive. Also delicious. The service is pleasant and efficient. We had iced tea, but the wine prices looked very reasonable.

Eastern & Main Market - Deli
Tried the Reuben sandwich on rye which is one of their signatures and it was very good. Recommend combining the corned beef (cured and brined) with the pastrami (cured and not brined) for extra flavor. This is one of the better Reubens I have ever had with excellent service!

Stopped while traveling. Crowded with locals even at 7 PM. Clean dining area. Specials on a chalk board. I had the seafood special. Baked haddock, baked scallops and fried shrimp. You could also choose whole clams or clam strips. Came with salad (very good) and mashed potatoes. Fish was good. Forget the potatoes. Spouse had fried shrimp. Very tasty because the are only lightly battered. Green beans were good after adding a little salt. The best part of this dining experience was our server, Violet. She was terrific.

Serving Craft Beer, Wine and Spirits. Complemented by a small but diverse menu, focusing on locally-sourced foods
We were traveling home from a Northern VT brewery and I needed a spot for an early dinner before my kids melted down. I did a search and Kingdom Taproom sounded perfect. We loved it there! The beer list was awesome and there were beers I donât see at home so it was great to try something new. The food was delicious. I loved my BBQ Brisket sandwich and I was also stealing bites from my childâs homemade Mac n Cheese. I love how items from the kids menu was $5 and served with fruit!
