Things to do in Cooper Landing
Rally burger and Turkey Ruben served piping hot and boy were they delicious. Assortment of individual Alaska chips available along with assorted sodas. In the parking lot of the grocery store. Took about 5 minutes. Could place your order and stop in the store to shop. It is cash only. Will probably stop here on the way back to Anchorage.

The historic Gwin's Lodge is located in Cooper Landing in the Kenai Peninsula in south central Alaska, which is known as "Alaska's playground." We are the closest lodging near the confluence of two world-class salmon streams - the Kenai River and the Russ
Arrived in Cooper Landing and my obligatory first stop is Gwinâs for late lunch and a couple beers. Reindeer sandwich was quite good, halibut fish tacos slightly less so.Beers were cold and quick to arrive.Met a few interesting folks, which always seems to happen. There are other good choices for a meal in Cooper Landing, but I would never fail to drop in here when I visit.Such great history.Everything has been going great this year and great menu items and new to-go Snack Shack. Drop in and try some Pizza and Subs when you see it open next to the main restaurant. There is an area to eat on both sides of it now. The inner area will be a beer garden we are working on getting approved. The fishing has been great this year. Thanks, Keith

As someone who seldom eats fish in restaurants only because he enjoys the best off his own hook and straight onto the Barrby; the Halibut was 10/10.Great ambience. Cooked to perfection. Flaked cleanly, moist & scrumptious. In an environment where it is easy to mix and meet after walking the Salmon stream.

Randomly stopped here for lunch on way to Homer. Right off Sterling Hwy. staff were very friendly, food was good quality! I had a salad with add on chicken and it was good. My husbandâs burger was excellent and their chocolate chip cookies are worth the calories! Super yummy!! Prices were a little steep, but they had high quality food.
