My family has been going to Van Abelâs for Motherâs Day and Thanksgiving since I was a kid. And in my 28 years on planet Earth. Iâve never once had a bad meal and in my opinion it isnât chicken unless itâs Van Abelâs chicken. Plus with a sit down you have the ham, mashed potatoes, Green Beans, bars, and stuffing and thatâs what I can just List by memory. Iâve always came out quite stuffed afterwards. I say everything is made in a way only Van Abels can do. Thereâs a reason my family keeps tradition of going to Van Abels alive, and the food is why. Plus itâs usually full, rarely will one see the place empty, plus despite all the people the staff is usually friendly and attentive. Iâm a huge fan of Van Abels
Not bad food or service, often come in to get the free paper with ads..good for Trip Advisor, I attempt to try every restaurant, met the friendly manager/owners, even showed me the rootbeer draft equipment! Surprised nobody but me has reviewed this older, 1999 location in small Reedsville?Probably not as popular as the drivein retro Manitowoc's 2009?Since A&W Manitowoc's accepts theirs, and, only their Certicates are valid, they'd rather argue! :o

We were introduced to Al Corso a couple years ago. Itâs in an âout of the wayâ location but worth the drive. The food and drinks are excellent! This is a small dining room in an old building with wonderful atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the service matches. I definitely recommend making a reservation.

I met a friend at Village Hearthstone on a Thursday evening. I arrived early to a warm, inviting atmosphere. I sat at the bar with a great view of their cozy fire set inside a brick wall while I had a glass of their Chardonnay. My friend arrived and we were seated in a booth. Cecka was the hostess and server and I cannot say enough about her! She was funny, very informative, and knows the menu like a book! I enjoyed the amazingly tasty mushroom and swiss burger with this scrumptious mac and cheese. My friend enjoyed the egg sandwich with the mac and cheese. I will, no doubt, order that egg sandwich next time! Village Hearthstone is a one of a kind dining establishment if you are looking for something more upscale, casual, and has locally sourced food. I WILL be back!

Slow, slow, slow. Inaccurate. Lucky if the girl taking the money says anything at all. Let alone Hi or Bye or Thank you. I been to McD's around the world. This is bar none the worst.

My mom wanted to go to Deer Run for Sunday brunch, so we checked the times: 9-1. The sign said it features scrambled eggs, sausage, cheesy hash browns, bacon, French toast sticks, ham, sausage, gravy and biscuits, fruit and dessert tray all for $7.95. I really liked the fruit cubes, French toast sticks, AND variety of desserts. The view from the dining room of the course and pond was quite lovely. With the buffet, we were able to serve ourselves and be satisfied in under thirty minutes. We were pleasantly surprised to see my nephew and his wife arrive after church as we were preparing to leave--indeed this brunch was a family favorite.

Rustic lodge style dining. Full service bar, restaurant, and banquet.
Last night we celebrated my husband's birthday with friends and they allowed a cake to be brought in and even cut it and served it too. I had the Asian Salmon and others had the Tenderloin tips and the birthday boy had the New York strip. Excellent meal and a wonderful time had by all.

Some friends of ours recommended going here for dinner. Walking in we were very impressed with the decor of the place. Quite stylish. We all had old fashions that were tasty and the bartender was extremely courteous. The place was surprisingly empty in the restaurant for a Saturday evening. The waitress came to the bar and took our order. She was very thorough and did an exceptional job throughout our dining experience. My wife and I walked in to the dining area and immediately noticed a full salad bar with all of the fixings which was delicious. When it came time for our meal, we were not disappointed. My wife and our friend ordered the haddock oscar and it was a huge portion that was incredibly good. I ordered tenderloin and haddock and my meal was equally as good. The same could be said about the fourth person in our party that ordered steak and shrimp. The entire experience was wonderful. Also to note, it was nice that one of the owners, Aaron, came and checked on us several times throughout the time we were there. They definitely aim to please here. We will definitely be back to Cobblestone Creek!
