Though Mumbai can feel chaotic and crowded, there are peaceful moments to be found here. Nibble a paper cone of bhelpuri while you stroll the sands of Chowpatty Beach. Then, take a short walk to Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, strategized, and was ultimately arrested. The markets are spirited places to bargain for spices or souvenirs. Take a guided tour of Dharavi – made famous by "Slumdog Millionaire" – for an eye-opening glimpse into what Mumbai life is like for nearly a million people.

The Yoga Institute is the oldest yoga center in the world, the first yoga school to be certified by the Indian government and the largest non-commercial yoga school on earth. Founded in 1918, Shri Yogendraji believed the benefits of yoga should be shared to all, establishing the Modern Yoga Renaissance. We welcome all to experience the classical approach to yoga, its history, and heritage.
In the midst of Mumbai chaos, there’s a secluded paradise that brings a piece of mind and grounding that any human being who lives in a modern world needs. From delicious satvvik food and way of life to incredible teachings about karma yoga and finding your life purpose, the Yoga Institute will help you find the answers you are looking for. I attended the 7-day health camp with my best friend in May this year. While we’re both holistic coaches and are well informed and experienced in the field of health and self-development, we both had an amazing time and took some incredible learning points from the teachings. We had the honor of meeting the amazing Hansaji who is a true inspiration. Her sessions were wise, informative, and wonderfully inspiring. Whether you want to learn more, develop yourself further, find peace in your life or simply find answers to life’s secrets, this course is for you and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
