Es war ein gelungener Abend mit guten Weinen und gutem Essen. Super waren die Salate, vor allem die Roten Beete. Bedienung herzlich, freundlich und aufmerksam.

I have to say that unfortunately in Rheinhessen is hard to find a good restaurant, but at the Weinrestaurant Landhaus am Heidenturm we found a really great place.We came for lunch on Motherâs Day and had a really great meal. They had a Motherâs Day special menu and a reduced normal menu, but we all could easily find our preferred options.All courses were very well prepared and presented, the Quiche was delicious, the Spargelcremsuppe with Shrimps was very delicate and not over spiced, the Fish, the Schnitzel and the Steak were just perfect, although the Asparagus couldâve been a bit more soft.Service was extremely friendly and as already said slightly confused, but nothing that disturbed or disappointed us.

I simply love the Wein- und Bierschanke... It a simple place, not fancy at all, with lots of character and great food. Everything you order there has something special... the Flammkuchen are just great, the meat skewers that they hang from the lamps (in the photo above) are great option!! Everyone will find something delicious to eat here!!But like I said, bring your light spirit and don't expect nothing fancy!

We ate there on a family trip. The owners are very friendly. The food selection was limited but everything was good: nice cheese and cold cuts for appetizer, noodles and mushrooms or scampi curry for main dish. We drank a local wine, which was great. We were even offered a plum alcohol digestive. Nice expérience, would definitely go back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the country side. Service was attentive and all food was cooked to perfection. May I recommend to just serve oven baked potatoes than fried ones, reminded me too much of chips. In the world of globalisation, it is hard to judge non German native speakers, however basic vocabulary would be good for wait staff, I.e. not saying sehr gut Menü whilst giving you the menu. Conclusively, you are not far away to get 5 stars next time.

It's not cheap, but the food is outstanding as is the choice of wines.The menu is interesting and the staff are outstanding and friendly. An added bonus is that some of the staff speak English
