Wine Bar and Food Lovely place overlooking the old harbor of Monopoli Where to taste the best Apulian wines and an excellent organic beer, accompanied by excellent Sausages and cheeses, And gourmet sandwiches. Restaurant.
What a fantastic place it is!!! It is small but with lots of character. Deco is spot on, window facing to the sea is a game changer making this place very unique. Two gentlemenâs behind the counter are brilliant! Very friendly, smiling, positive, chatty with high standard of customer service. We were there only for some drinks so I canât say how the food is but by the look of it on others table it looked very good! Definitely recommended! Oh and the music, old school staff-fantastic!

Open for just 4 days when we ended up eating dinner there, this small bar/restaurant serves organic wine and food in a pretty square. We had a glass of wine each and liked being there so much, we then ordered a cheese plate of 4 different local cheeses. And then, not wanting to move on, we ordered another glass of wine each and a redfish cooked in a local tomato ragout-style sauce. It was all delicious. The friendly owners of this new and different entry to the Monopoli scene should do well.

I stumbled upon this place by pure chance on a long round trip cycle in the countryside from Ostuni to Monopoli and back. It is everything that makes coming to Puglia different to other parts of Italy. The proud owners are friendly and engaging. They are interested of course in clientele but are primarily want to share the local food and wine for which there is clearly a natural passion. It is like stepping into somebodyâs house where they just happen to cook very well and have a respectable local wine cellar. The set up is of a no menu fixed dish experience - no dishonour there: see my Faviken review- With matched wine. This is not supposed to be a haute cuisine experience but a return to the simple values that prevailed in what was a predominantly agricultural community. I loved every dish that we had and the wine (for which there is a clear passion also) was very good. I commend this experience to any visitor capable of finding it in the Monopoly li countryside in the hope that tourism does not damage a fabulous place. Beware: it only does lunch and at the weekend!

Set in a lovely square the food was amazing. Reasonably priced and great service. I went there 3 times during my stay and was never disappointed. Service was great, clean toilets. Can recommend the pasta with mussels for only 7â¬, all in my group enjoyed the experience. Must also not that the menu is allergy friendly with reference to all ingredients, very helpful if like some in our group you are trying to avoid dairy, eggs or nuts.

We enjoyed some beers and wine here one afternoon mid-week in early October. Our server was really friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. As the name suggests, paninis are available to order. We didnât eat here as we fancied something a little more substantial but I recommend it for a place to stop for a short while and have a drink. It is a little down-at-heel but it was quite charming.

The best of the fantastic food and drink of monopoli. This restaurant filled fast and was dealt with by a smiley and efficient waiter who might well have been the owner. The fresh fish was amazing and was genuinely in short supply- our party of 4 all had the superb fresh tuna and the next table was then told it was done. Don't get put off by the description of potatoes with all the dishes as "baked"- they're far more like sauteed and they were delicious. Had most amazing cheesecake to finish. Highly recommended.
